Seneca Hose Firefighters responded on 3/8/22 at 0934 Hrs for a report of a structure fire on Klas Ave.
Police were on location reporting a working fire with heavy smoke through the roof. Seneca Hose 9 went on location with fire in the rear on the C side extending vertically in a 30′ x 85′ 1 1/2 story house. Command requested a 3rd Ambulance to the scene for a Firefighter down at the scene with non life threatening injuries & the 3rd alarm mutual aid for coverage.
Union, Vigilant, East Seneca, Reserve, Winchester, Newton Abbott (FAST), & Orchard Park (FAST) responded as mutual aid to the scene. Spring Brook filled in at Seneca Hose, Doyle 2 filled in at Winchester, Armor filled in at Reserve, & South Line filled in at Union.
The fire was placed under control in 42 minutes.
