Harris Hill Firefighters responded on 3/21/22 at 0942 Hrs for a report of smoke coming from house on Wehrle Dr.

Harris Hill 9 went on location with heavy smoke showing from the roof and requested the balance of the assignment. Command further reported fire in the basement with extension into the first floor with a partial floor collapse and extension into the attic in a 1 1/2 story house.

East Amherst (FAST), Clarence Center, Bowmansville, & Clarence responded as mutual aid to the scene. Swormville filled in at Clarence Center, Newstead filled in at Clarence, & Main Transit filled in at Harris Hill.

The fire was reported out in 33 minutes.
