Now all attention is on a scroll which is upon the hand of the one on the throne. A scroll with seven seals. Things are about to happen. The consummation of history is about to begin.
Oh my my my my my, how we learn from those heavenly creatures and should we not bow to the Lord our God in worship as they do and the 24 elders do in heaven. why wait to get there? Lets do it now!
It's another fine day in the Lord. starting out the week with the sea of Glass which John sees in Heaven. I particularly like that there were those things on the earth that was modelled after the things in heaven. pretty neat.
no secular book or movie which attempts to tell us about heaven will ever compare to the words of John in his account of heaven
John describes not the throne itself but the one on the throne. and unlike how he describes the Son of man in Chapter 1 with bodily characteristics he describes to costly stones of rarity and beauty, more so of the effect of a glorious appearance.
John is crediable witness to what heaven looks like and the things which was revealed to him.
God affectionally loves those who are of His. He does not want none to fail to obtain the objective. it is the Lord who will discipline those whom he loves not because of anger but because he does love them.
Anyone who has yet an unreached goal but unable to see the objective somewhere in the journey and probably not long into the journey one will give up. By faith we must be able to see the finish line. walking according to the flesh leaves one blinded to God's direction. this lesson will be zoomed live at 6:00pm Sunday evening if you would like to participate. The lessons encourages believers to engage with Scripture not only as a book of instruction but as a living Word that transforms hearts and minds. It helps Christians realize the importance of obedience to God's Word in everyday life, especially in times of struggle or temptation.
Christians today often struggle with the allure of material possessions. The Word encourages them to reevaluate what true wealth means in the light of God’s kingdom and offers practical steps to invest in spiritual treasures that last
This sermon aims to help individuals understand that true strength comes from acknowledging their limitations and relying on God's power to endure life's challenges. It encourages believers to embrace their weaknesses as opportunities for growth and reliance on Christ.
The Lord metaphorically describes the spiritual condition of the Church as worthless as the water that is piped in from other sources being lukewarm and not palatable.
The one's who are overcoming can expect to have permanent residence in the New Jerusalem along with a new name,
A temple, a crown, a pillar, and new name. Wow! What more can we look forward to? infinitely much more, I presume!
What is the temple of God?what is it to be a pillar in the temple of God?where there is no ear that has heard or eye has seen all that God has prepared for those who love him, here is another reason to press forward in the spiritual life.
what exactly is the crown. Is it a ruby and diamond studded headgear worn by kings and queens or is there something else tied to those who reach spiritual maturity that the Crown represents?
the review of the different positions of the Rapture of the church and who will be part of the whole that will be tested.
Summery: This Lesson reflects on how God’s favor is expressed through Scripture, emphasizing our identity as cherished individuals and the importance of faithfulness despite trials.
This collection of passages emphasizes God's love for His chosen people and highlights our true identity as children of God through faith in Christ, who enables us to live out this identity in a fallen world.
It is not the law that is the evil but the place where Jews and believing gentiles went to be instructed of the Law. The biggest enemy v
The one who has all the authority is the one who also has the keys. Keys to lock in places where you might not want to be locked into and keys that will allow access. Where do you stand with the one who holds the keys?
This morning we finish with the book of Acts. Paul commits himself to taking the gospel to the gentiles.

Paul remains under house arrest in Caesarea up until Governor Felix is relieved of command
the worthy will walk with the Lord in white as part of the inheritance package for those who overcome.
Paul stands before Felix as the Jewish leadership brings along a prosecuting attorney to seek to bring Paul back to Jerusalem where they can see him killed
the Lord had informed Paul to have courage. Paul will soon see why it is that he would have to be brave as there would be those who would stop at nothing to see Paul dead.
Yes, to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life guarantees life. But there is so much more about eternity than just being in heaven
Paul stuns the Centurian with the statement that He is a Roman citizen. when the word gets back to the commander the process of whipping Paul was stopped immediately in fear of there own skins. and then Paul is sent to the Sanhedrin where Peter and John had stood and Jesus before them.
The Roman Commander had Paul arrested and would have had him beaten to extract the information he wanted. But when finding out that this was a Roman citizen, the commander must have feared for his own skin.
Saul the crusader worked for the destruction of the Church (Acts 7-9), and now Paul the crusader worked to prevent the destruction of the Jews (Acts 22). while the Israelites had the opportunity to receive Christ but didn't. they crucified him. Here is a messenger and a second chance to receive the Christ.
God intervenes when a Mob seeks to kill Paul and places him in the custody of a Roman Cohort.
Adam had to qualify for position as dominion ruler. He failed Christ as the last Adam had to qualify for dominion rule and succeeded and those who will rule with Christ will be tested and proved for rulership.
While the leadership was happy to see Paul, they were worried about the Mob of Jews were believing that Paul was preaching against their beloved law.
When Jonah went the other direction rather than going to Ninevah, the Lord nevertheless prepared a fish to put the evangelist right where the Lord would have him. the Apostle Paul the apostle to the gentiles rather than taking the gospel further into the world sought to unite with his brethren in Jerusalem. Might this be in error on Paul's part when so many were telling him not to go?
In our Last lesson we spoke of Adam and how he along with his wife were given the responsibility as dominion rulers of the creation. in genesis 1:26-28 But being tested they were disqualified and at the same time plunged all mankind into condemnation. (Romans 5:12; 1 Cor 15 21) However, what God had purposed from the beginning he intends to bring to completion. There comes another Adam to accomplish what the first Could not
Paul’s third missionary Journey had ended taken two to three years. Now Paul is headed back to Jerusalem. Paul is eager to bring together the Jews and the gentiles into one body. However, Paul is plagued with warning about going to Jerusalem. Will he be right to go?
Paul in his travels during his third missionary journey, gives a sermon throughout the night and is interrupted around midnight when one falls asleep and falls out of the window to his death.
God is setting up a rulership function within the coming kingdom. He is the king of kings and Lord of Lords. what God had purposed from the beginning God is at work to bring about. the first Adam failed to comply with the rulership mandate and proved himself to be unworthy of the task, but hope remained. God has a plan.
The Gospel does shed its light into the world without opposition. Once again Paul is in the center of the commotion. there will come a time when Rome steps in and deal with the Apostle.
The Gospel is spreading but not without opposition from the world. Paul is prevented from going to the assembly of hostile believers in the Pagan Goddess and the labor unions.
Not only are we born again when we have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for as our salvation, but we are left in this world and given an objective to achieve. it is to reach spiritual maturity where we maximize in our lives the glory of God. to reach the objective despite the opposition in this life we are to be conquers.
Paul spends three months in Ephesus visiting the synagogue seeking to persuade the Jews of the Kingdom to come
Many even in our day put much into the water being ritually cleansed, how much do we know about the true baptism which is in the spirit
This week’s Bible Study Centers around holding the line. The objective to the spiritual life is the edification of the soul to the Glory of God. this requires a life center around God’s word learning, applying and growing. in motivating the believer, God will bring about suffering on top of what the church is already experiencing to direct the believer back on course.
Apollos; a scholar, a teacher, had knowledge of Jesus but yet had things to learn about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit into Christ.

While we are to serve the Lord the effectiveness of one’s ministry will get Satan’s attention and opposition will soon stand against the Christian serving in the Devils world. Objects of fear will be thrown at the believer to dissuade him from continuing his course and to give up, the Lord says Stop being afraid and take the Hill.

WE are all born into a world that is universally lost. and we will remain lost apart from receiving the message from Christ and heeding to it.
Oh that we should have the heart of Paul, WE think of missionary work as one traveling from country to country and that is true that we are to take the gospel to all the world. But I have to ask myself, “do I have the kind of heart as Paul who is devoted so much to the eternal lives of others to give my time all my time to reaching the lost”
The Gospel the power of Salvation is depended upon the message received. and while great minds of the day laughed and scoffed at it, others of not of such a academic level believed and were saved. it is a message that is the power.
Those whom God places in Authority, hold a higher accountability. the letters of the Churches are addressed to the Leader of the Churches.we also talk about the pressure that the comes under and the lure of a more palatable doctrine which comes in the form of false teaching and idolatry
Paul leaves a populace who had rejected his message. they could believe so many things of so many gods, the people of Athens could not stomach the resurrection.
when we were at our worst the Lord was Patience until the door of Salvation was opened by his love that we might walk away from our idolatry and come to respond to the Love of Christ.
The Gospel comes to Athens. To those in the Synagogue; Jews and Believing gentiles. To those in the Market place To the Epicureans And to the Stoics. Some will respond. Some won’t.The Message as all messages should be Christ centered. The Key to our so Great Salvation is the News the Gospel of Jesus Christ in how the Christ defeated death to validate the message that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17:21 This description of the regular activity at the Areopagus (Mars Hill) helps establish the irony of Paul’s discourse. While the Athenians put Paul and Christianity on trial, Paul puts their philosophies on trial. Thus, what looks to the Athenians like confused thinking actually points to the incoherence in their philosophies
Everything as we have discussed from the Lord’s commanding voice to his appearance portrays a Command presence like none other.
IN the midst's of human activity in a major city, in the hustle and bustle world, Paul recognizes what most dismiss. that there is a hell and the gate is wide open waiting each one's last breath.
Everything as we have discussed from the Lord’s commanding voice to his appearance portrays a Command presence like none other.
17:16–34 Paul’s ministry in Athens shows how he altered his approach in carrying out his mission to the Gentiles. His earlier speech at Pisidian Antioch depicts his message to Jews and God-fearing Gentiles (13:16–41), but his speech in Athens (vv. 22–34) shows how he approached Gentiles who had no knowledge of or commitment to the God of Israel.Barry, J. the Magistrate had erred. they had ordered the prisoners to be stripped, beaten, thrown in prison without a trial, before learning that Paul was a roman citizen. the Magistrate was now very much worried that they would have to face treason charges. Their fate lay in the hands of Paul
The Lord acknowledges Pergamum as being where Satan has his throne. This most plausibly relates to the throne-like altar of Zeus, itself a symbol of the idolatry that held sway in Pergamum. Yet these Christians remained true to the name of Jesus, the only Lord, Saviour and God incarnate.Beasley-Murray, G. R. (1994). Revelation. In D. A. Carson, R. T. France, J. A. Motyer, & G. J. 1 Peter 3:15–16 (NASB95) — 15 but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; 16 and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame. Two prisoners had nothing better to do at midnight being in stocks and too uncomfortable to sleep but to worship their God in Song and prayers. Per the covenant the seed of Abraham would bring the lifesaving Gospel to the world. But being an exclusive sect they perfered to isolate the message within their own religious community. when the Jews witnessed the reaction of the Gentiles and the positive response toward the grace of God, then Jealousy sat in and led to the second rejection of Christ.

While the Church in Antioch was growing in the word, and service to the Lord, 300 miles south in Judea the Church was experiencing a different aspect of the Church in the world.... Persecution.
The Christian community was growing. The Church found its foundation in Antioch 300 miles north of Jerusalem. They had received evangelism, encouragement, the word of God, and now we find the impact of the grace of God as those in Antioch sends sustaining support to their brothers in Judea.
What does a Church look like? What should it look like?Should it be an that which changes to fit the postmodern world? Or should it be that once the model was clearly seen in the beginning of its establishment should we not today expect it to look the same?
The church age began in Jerusalem. The Church as we know it, that which is not Jew nor the Pagan Greek but the body of believers that are of Christ began in Antioch.A large number of Jews assembled there when the persecution of the followers of the way which were the designation of those jews who believed and who had received the spirit.

Luke has just set up his account of the church’s witness beyond Jerusalem with two men who are (at this point) opposites: Saul, a zealous enemy of the church (Acts 7:58), and Stephen, the Christian who has just laid down his life as a witness to Jesus (7:60). In very different ways both men motivate the church’s growth, as God continues to build His Church in spite of persecution. The story of Saul and the events following Stephen’s death act as a backdrop for the Church’s efforts and Saul’s later, changed life (ch. 9).

As the world grows more hostile against the Christian, we must be ready to give an answer for the hope that is found in us. If that is possible we must have not only the knowledge of God's word but the given wisdom to make the right application of the truth.
In the beginning the earth became formless and void and darkness was over the face of the deep. Darkness was the default condition. It had a hold on the world until God said light and light was.Darkness had to give way when God separated the light from the darkness. And one day there will be no more darkness. So it is that light, the truth, is a threat to all that is dark.
there was no great manhunt to track down the escapees. they did not run for the hills and disappear for good as would have been maybe a desirable option to get these apostles out of the religious leaders hair. As instructed the apostles were at the temple teaching the people. God's authority is supreme.

We are in the Last remaining 24 hours of Jesus’ life on earth prior to going to the Cross. He is speaking with the ones whom he personal loves and that is his disciples. Jesus had delivered much negative revelation to the 12 and at this point their own hearts were quite heavy. The disciples were completely bewildered and discouraged. Jesus had said He was going away (7:34; 8:21; 12:8, 35; 13:33), that He would die (12:32–33), that one of the Twelve was a traitor (13:21), that Peter would disown Him three times (13:38), that Satan was at work against all of them (Luke 22:31–32), and that all the disciples would fall away (Matt. 26:31). The cumulative weight of these revelations must have greatly depressed them. (BKC)

Where would any of this be, if it not be for the death and resurrection of our Christ?Where would our confidence be in Him if he still lies in the grave or if there were no empty tomb by which we can prove that our savior lives? Do we as Christians worship a dead Martyr who was a good man, a prophet a teacher, who taught us how we should turn the other cheek before he was unjustly sentenced to die upon the cross?Or are we celebrating this day that we worship and serve a resurrected Christ. Where would any of our studies be in Hebrews if Christ died bringing the end to the story and our hope?

Jesus and His disciples are still assembled in the upper room during the Last supper. Jesus loves all 12 of his disciples including the one whom is about to betray him.The reference to little children will not come until after Judas had departed. While we all have a volition to choose whom we will follow, it is not flesh and blood that we do war against. It will not be Judas that will strike at the heal of Jesus, and it is not the head of Judas that will be crushed. Judas’ condemnation will not be his actions but his rejection of the Love of God and the offer of forgiveness as he leaves the room to do his own masters bidding.

Our greatest concern is in taken the advantage afforded to us. The Advantage of the Cross. This advantage was afforded to us by Jesus’ work upon that cross. By trusting in him we have eternal life, we have been bathed and are spiritually baptized in Him at the very point we believe. That can never be taken away. Our purification is looking back at the cross, knowing that the penalty for sins were paid for in full, we are cleansed from our spiritual defilement when we name those sins to the Father. Having been cleansed we are then free to press onward and upward to a glorious life with Christ.

Who is Jesus?Simple Question. To ask your friends and family or coworkers you would probably get many different answers. And I believe you would be surprised at the different answers. Without Jesus there is only eternal condemnation no matter how good and saintly you might think you are. Acts 4:12 (NASB95) — 12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” Some might be a little bored with the subject of Hebrews, and maybe it is because of the one at the pulpit. the author focuses on provisions within the tabernacle. After describing the various objects associated with the priesthood (vv. 2–5), the author continues by describing the regulation and practice of religious life (vv. 6–10). The infrequency of access to God under the old covenant serves to demonstrate that such an arrangement could function only provisionally (vv. 7–8). Furthermore, the sacrifices’ failure to properly cleanse indicates the need for a more effective sacrifice (vv. 9–10). This description of the tabernacle leads into 9:11–10:18, which discusses Christ’s priestly ministry within the heavenly sanctuary.

These are historical and not just in the time of the tribulation but throughout history many of these things sprang up.How the days the events the setting all compare to the time in which we are living. The Lord has taken the religious leaders to the woodshed with the curses, the woes, that he had rebuked them with. Jesus did not cushion his words. He was not soft spoken, nor did he speak as one who was trying to win friends and influence people. The Logos, the word, which is sharper than any two-edged sword, did its dividing and exposed the intent of the heart. Was this a merciful call to the religious leaders to repent. That the truth is so exposed, that those men could come to see clearly and be convicted and change their minds?Or was this provocation, to stir up the anger of those who are already surrendered to do the will of Satan in order to expedite the evil plans of Satan to get Jesus to calvary where the greatest victory will be won by Jesus.
No one can represent himself or herself before the Holiness of God. Before such a God, we must have the right representation. We must have a priest a mediator and advocate. We do not and cannot represent ourselves.
Jesus Continues to fuel the fire of hatred against himself, that will lead to his own death and his victory over death
Jesus’ rebuke against the pharisees was not to be insulting but to be instructive. Jesus coming into Jerusalem had cured two physically blind men that was calling out to him.
The religious leaders knew their doctrine, they worshipped their practices, their religion, their positions, and their academics. but they had no worship of the one true God. Is our own religious practice an exercise absent of faith.
More woes against the Pharisees and the scribes fueling their hatred and contempt that would lead them to be instruments that will be used to get the savior to calvary.
His first denunciation concerned the fact that the Pharisees were preventing others from entering the kingdom. Their antagonism toward Jesus had caused many to turn away from Him. Many Jews were looking to their leaders for direction. Their failure to accept Jesus as Messiah had placed a stumbling block in the paths of their countrymen. For this they stood condemned.
Jesus turns His attention to the crowd, While the religious leaders may be discrediting themselves the word must continue to be upheld
Now once again the Pharisees step up to the plate in their attack against Jesus. they send in an expert of the Law to confront Jesus with an argument seeking to use different public opinion to drive a wedge between His supporters.

Jesus takes the Sadducees to school on the resurrection which they themselves did not believe.
after dealing with the Chief priests now it is back to the Sadducees as they seek to entrap Jesus with his own words. and once again these experts of the Law only demonstrate their own ignorance.
Abraham believing in the Lord becomes the very pattern of faith throughout the Old and New Testament as Paul writes in Romans and also in James.
One of the greatest bones of contention, is what belongs to Caesar and what belongs to God. when do we make a stand for personal property and for freedom? Before we can answer the question, do we ourselves with the freedom we do have and that which we do possess give any to God?
When the grace train pulls out the Judgment train pulls in. IN grace there is time to adjust to the justice of God but when the grace halts then it will be that the Justice of God will adjust to us.
Clothing in the bible speaks to the nakedness of man’s soul before God. Man, and angels are judged according to God’s standard of righteousness.
After being sick for the past weeks, we review the marriage feast Parable this morning.
When we confess in the name of the Lord, we are upholding the integrity of God. And when we fail to trust in God, we are making an accusation against the integrity of God implying that we cannot trust God.Knowing God is knowing his perfect and infinite character. When we know our God, time does not become an issue as we wait for God to be true to his promises. If God goes back on his promises when it comes to our so great salvation, that whoever believes in him shall have eternal life, we stand to lose, but the greater loss will be that of God having been made unreliable and untrustworthy.
There is a conceptional reasoning behind clothing in the bible beginning in Genesis. Now just as we are not getting a lesson on Zoology encountering a talking snake in the garden, neither are we dealing with the first nudist colony and the first streakers in the bible. Today in reference to the wrong garment that the man was wearing at the banquet, we too can be wearing the wrong garments.
God is a great separated from the beginning when he separated the light from the darkness. And while today there are those cry out that Discrimination is the greatest of Sin, It is the final judgment that will once again separate the light from the darkness calling the light good.
Much of our lives are invested in looking forward to the day of retirement. Some have worked hard and built a financial portfolio in order to spend their golden years relaxing and playing golf.IN comparison how much time have you spent building your spiritual portfolio, to ensure that you have made the right investments that brings glory to God and eternal rewards in heaven?

In the time line of the History of the Israelites. there will be a rejection of Jesus at his advent not once by twice. And then as a result will come the destruction of the temple in AD 70. but going on from there would be the continuing on of the calling out of the bride of Christ. when the bride is removed history of the Jews will continue as they become the evangelists within the world evangelizing the gentile nations.

Is all prayer for every believer answered just the way Jesus said it would be and with faith we call dump mountains into the sea?
The first Command in the bible to man was be fruitful and multiply. This was commanded of Adam and it was commanded to Noah after the flood. If we were product of evolution, we could shrug our shoulders and seek to simply exist until we die bearing nothing, producing nothing and thereby living a life in vain.Jerusalem would be that fig tree that was to be cursed.
Understanding just who the letter of Hebrews is written to clears up much understanding not only about the fact that we can fall away and what happens there is also implications even to our own salvation.

The parable of vineyard given to those within an agricultural community. It is the continuing narrative of the first will be last and the last will be first principle. It also brings us to the understanding that there is a spiritual economy where there is Labor, and wages given for productive work and that there is a time to Labor and a time to receive what is due. All from this parable.

By the closing of Matthew 12, Jesus had stopped speaking plainly about the subject of The Kingdom. What is the Kingdom and where did it go and will it come back?
Arrogance, which is antithetical to humility blinds one to one’s own condition. The Pharisee, being a pious individual and a legalist, compares himself to those who outwardly are viewed as sinners. , while the one who had the right view of God also understood his own unworthiness calling upon the mercy of God/

Prayer is commitment and a dedication to the Lord. it is not throwing that up to the ceiling and hoping it sticks.
When God says to the believer, “come,” it means one leaves the elementary teachings that brought us initially into the faith, the gospel message, and pursue higher understanding of the truth which our Lord Jesus Christ is. (John 14:6) The word of God is alive and powerful. It is our sustenance that sustains our spiritual lives. a Physical food is our daily bread to support our bodies, so must the word of God be our daily bread to support the daily function of our spiritual lives. We can never say that we have graduated from the classroom where the Spirit teaches and strengthens the spiritual life to say that we need no longer take in God’s word. The day we stop pursuing God in His word is the day we begin our retrogression back to the darkness. It is not until the day that the Lord closes our eyes to this temporal life and our walk within this temporal life is finished, that we can rejoice in our graduation. The word of God is indeed alive and powerful. But only in those that continue to allow the holy spirit to yield that sword.
I guess in the privacy of the priesthood this morning we might want to do a gut check in Just “how is my prayer life?” How serious am I when it comes to prayer? How serious was Jesus? How serious were those in the early Church when we read over and over again in the book of Acts of the time that the people were spending in prayer.
Yes Salvation is by grace alone. we do nothing for it. We cannot repay God for it. But nonetheless Grace demands a response, that we who have been given so much should then lift up our hearts in unwavering gratitude and give glory to God.

As Believers we are not judged. However there will be a evaluation at the Judgement seat of Christ. How well and on what criteria will we be evaluated.
Jesus said to His disciples.
“Because of the littleness of your faith; that must have been the most disheartening expression directed toward the disciples that was breathed off of the lips of Jesus.

Many of us, even as Christian's are fearful of everything except what we should be afraid of which is God. and when it is that we are in the presence of the glory of God it is the Lord who touches us and says, Don't be afraid. He is our mediator.
There is a break between Chapters 16 and 17 of Matthew that should not be there. Jesus had just told his disciples of a coming event which would take place in the future where some among of the them will see the Son of Man and His kingdom. IN Chapter 17 the some will come to encounter a life changing event.
What was it that brought you to and through the door of Salvation? Was it the Promises of Heaven. A perpetual paradise. Muslim’s Men, (I don’t know what the women can expect) look to go to paradise complete with 70 virgins. Was it that you have heard of a Hell, and it scared you so bad that you chose Christ as being one who could keep you out of Hell? Or was there something else?

If we want to enter into God's rest, then there will some cutting and examination of the soul and the spirit. Nothing is more penetrating that God's word to fix our deficiencies bringing us into completion and into God's rest.
It is beyond man's conventual wisdom to seek after something he cannot see or touch. but when Man does not seek he will not find and the things that he sought so desperately to obtain even that he will loose,
If we are going to enter into and execute God's will and his rest we must have a guide and that guide is the living word of God

Peter scores an A+ on the first quiz and then the second quiz he blows to receive a stern rebuke from The Lord.
We often hear and repeat of how much this world is growing darker. Yes the world has rejected the truth and because of that we are in a world of great unrest. Now while we might not have so much of a say how the world might be, Might we have any say over the darkness that threatens our own hearts in Unbelief.

In Hebrews 4 there is the warning of not entering into God’s rest. What does that mean. What does it mean to the Church age believer. Going back to the first occurrence of Rest where God had rested where it is brought up in Exodus 20 in the commandments and here in our passage. Why in Genesis did God rest? This is important.

Doctrine is essential to spiritual growth. Our growth comes through the world. Doctrine is the building block of the spiritual house within our own souls. But without faith all the doctrine and bible learning in the world will be like building material at a construction project all stacked up but never put together to make a building. The Gospel must be united by faith to build the spiritual house.
there are many lessons and warnings that come out from the failure of the first generation of Israel who came out of Egypt. If we fail to heed the warning we lose bigger than that first generation
The power of Salvation is the Gospel and the Gospel must be heard and to hear it it must be first communicated.
it is not a question of why the Christian must suffer persecution when it comes. the more important question is why would a Christiaan not be made to suffer for the cause of Christ?

the event news of the kingdom is going out to the displaced jews throughout the Land, just as it would go out to a Jewish woman in Moab in centuries passed looking for blessing.
This is certainly a second, and probably a third journey about Galilee. Dwell on Matt. 9:35 and 11:1 (end of this section), and try to realize the extent of the Saviour’s work in teaching and healing. He “crowded into three short years actions and labours of love that might adorn a century.” (Ro.Hall.)
The 12 were first called by Jesus. they were trained by Jesus as his disciples, now they are being sent out.

hearing the news of Jesus two blind men approach Jesus in faith and according to that faith Jesus heals them. was it the power of Jesus to heal them or was it the power of faith that caused them to see?
During the civil war the mission, as in any tactical warfare was to take the high ground. Whoever holds the high ground has the advantage. For units to stay together as they are one body, they were to follow their regimental colors. that we their flag and turn from their standard to run from the battle would be disloyalty to their homeland. the Christian standard is the Lord Jesus Christ as it is that we are to follow the colors

The mindset in our day is that the Old Testament is outdate and is replaced by the new. the study of the kingdom while it is that the mystery doctrine of the church age is new and the teaching of the kingdom we must lay aside our presuppositions we can not understand the kingdom doctrine without the Old testament.

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a Pearl that a merchant sells all that he has to purchase.
Death of these mortal bodies cannot excuse one from the day of the Lord where the most fierce penalty of wickedness will be.
Our God is a great discriminator. IN this world we see the seeds of false doctrine being sown from it producing an undesirable crop. in the final judgement the Lord will gather his own in bring into safety while the tares will be gathered for judgment
The Gospel is the power of salvation first to the Jew and then to the Greek. Through the gospel one is saved and brought into the family of God. if Satan cannot get one from hearing the gospel he will do all that he can to redefine the gospel.
the third seeders are those whose thorns of this world chokes out the spiritual life of the beleiver
Spiritual growth is not dependent upon how much information we can acquire store and regurgitate. How much bible doctrine we can take in even on a regular basis. Our Spiritual growth is proportional on a heart that can receive that which is from God that is a fertile heart to receive that which is taken in by the ear gate and then metabolized within the heart which becomes what Dr. Vernon McGee use to call, “Shoe Leather.”

Thinking of one’s coreligionists as brothers and sisters was common; respecting older persons as mothers or fathers was also widespread. But allowing ties in the religious community to take precedence over family ties was unheard-of in Judaism, except when a pagan converted to Judaism and regarded his new family as more important than his old one. (Like other Jewish teachers, Jesus commonly employs hyperbole, or rhetorical exaggeration. He is not rejecting his earthly family altogether but stating his priorities, because they want to declare him mentally incompetent to rescue him from the dangers he is sure to face from religious authorities if he continues on his present path;
the Pharisees go on the attack again, setting Jesus up with severely demonized man and when Jesus Miraculosly heals Jesus they claim that he does it in the Power of Satan.
Glory. Majesty Honor and fame. Splender. How could be that Man’s fear can be something so awesome as God’s glory. How can be that Shepherds in the field crumbled in fear at the very presence of God’s glory? Or John fallen down as though he was dead or Isaiah who confessed that he was ruined? No I can’t imagine. No I can’t imagine the awesomeness of God’s glory when such great men fell to their ground in the presence of it.

79.18 δόξαa, ης f: the quality of splendid, remarkable appearance—‘glory, splendor.’ Order is that which meets God’s perfect design, defined by God and is God. Not just that all is in its right place, but it is God’s way and proper. We can see the glory of God’s past creation even in a broken world. Oh, how might it been at the point when God saw that it we very good. And how did he do that?He went from taking the world that was tohu vabohu and then with each day of creation he brought the creation to the glorious state and note that on the seventh day there was no morning and evening. Mentioned.God could have made everything good instantly, but he brought the world which indicates travel or movement to the point of completion where it all met God’s approval and to God’s glory. Even in a broken world when we see the beauty of a sunset, the nature that is around us, the music of the birds and wind through the trees and feel the breeze, does it not lead us sometimes to worship the one who created all these things. doesn’t these things bring Glory to God.

Acts 27:9–10 (NASB95) — 9 When considerable time had passed and the voyage was now dangerous, since even the fast was already over, Paul began to admonish them, 10 and said to them, “Men, I perceive that the voyage will certainly be with damage and great loss, not only of the cargo and the ship, but also of our lives.” As Paul with other prisoners were being transported to Rome when conditions for sailing got difficult and it appeared all will be lost. Let us think about our bodies as a vessel transporting the cargo of our souls to port. The important thing was to make it to shore with the cargo passengers. For you and I we are seeking to get ashore with our souls in tact undamaged and to be received with gladness of the one who is waiting for the shipment.
This becomes the journey. My Brother Mike, talks about hiking the Appalachian Trail. He says if you want to find stuff, sometimes even good stuff, hiking sticks books, this and that you can essentially go on a scavenger hunt at the beginning of the trail. Enthusiastic unexperienced hikers will load themselves down. On a hike every ounce counts, for it expends that much energy to carry it. so, people will shed this stuff early in the hike. Same with our Spiritual journey. Every ounce of ourselves that we take with us on the journey expends energy and slows our progress. We want to include our SELF program. This includes our own righteousness, personal strengths, morality, do goodisms, our energy of the flesh. The fact is that the Christian life which is Christ Followers is not a life of independence but a life of dependence. If we are to live a life in Christ we must first shed off the old self
Is there a Cross that we all must bear? Are we willing to give our lives for a God whom we never seen and follow a Christ who we do not know?
The human race is under attack by Satan with the minions of angelic beings along with the willing accomplices who side themselves with Satan and his schemes. The teaching of evolutionary theory as fact, millions of year gap theory that allows for it over creation. There is high technology which goes from technical to metaphysical, human experimentation, genetic altering, and programing. all to devalue the human race which God created special. We are allowing evil to devalue our lives. The world has discredited, discarded and outlawed the bible which is God’s word. It is the word of God which we find that Man was created special in God’s image made by the hand of God. What price tag is connected to your life? Who was it from the first who put the price on you…Is it the world which claims life as worthless?Or is it the creator God who claims your life to be priceless to Him.
We often think of our relationship with the Lord as we invite Jesus into our lives. we invite Jesus into our homes into our businesses. We want to share our lives with Christ in a sense. But what is the better situation? We sharing our lives with Christ or is it that we abandon our lives to share Christ’s life?
The question is what does it cost to be s disciple of the Lord? What would you be willing to pay to put on Christ and be viewed by an angry world who hates the name of Jesus to declare his name and to walk in his ways as an imitator of Christ.Would tuition would you be willing to pay to look like Christ, to live like Christ in his image?Would you even pay the tuition with your own life?
There are those who profess and claim a certain power over Satan and demons. At the same time the enemy probably is laughing at these stupid humans who were created lower than the angels. The power that we do have is found in our own volition. The power to choose whom we will follow. The power to say yes to God’s way and no to evil.
Many Christians do not give much thought about heaven apart from going there after they di. But when we all stand before the Lord as those who have been saved, there will be a distinct reality of the differences between the brethren in the eternal state. There will standing among the elect, those with crowns, robes, royal positions, and closeness to the Lord that others who are citizens of Heaven do not. Where and how you lived your life in the body, the decisions you made in your Christian life will be on display throughout all eternity.
Whose voice are you responding to? How does your words and your actions speak for only yourself and your own self interest or do your words and actions speak for another. Is that other the Spirit of God, or is it the spirit of Satan?
While the minds of the Disciples were trained on the Messiah and the coming kingdom, none could understand that the road to the kingdom and their citizenship into the kingdom will be paved with the saviors blood.

we will begin this morning with Palms Sunday service and we may or may not get back to Hebrews. Let's see where the spirit takes usSpiritual Maturity is the goal after salvation. It is the bringing of the believer in Christ from being selfish to selfless. From being egocentric to Christ centered. While our second birth is instantaneous the maturity in the faith is not. To arrive short of that Goal in life is to have lived a life in vain. Standing before Jesus as one’s savior and yet have nothing to show for a life that he gave for it.

To those who are caught up in religious practices, and yet have no spiritual life. Jesus has a message for you.
Jesus turned over the apple cart when it came to the traditions of the religious types. And as you do that today, people will call you as they did Jesus in His day, a heretic. And then we must ask, what makes me a heretic? breaking your tradition or the word of God? who really is the heretic?
the simple message of salvation was too simple to remain with the one whom they had to have total trust in for eternal life.
As simple as it is to receive Christ, what was it that we had to believe. And yet as we grow how complex does it becomes to learn all that God did and more that we might be saved. and yet Jesus knew who was his form the beginning of time.
Jesus' is worthy of rulership given to him By the father. the Father loves his own righteousness, the Son loves the righteousness of the Father and hates that which dishonors the father.

Jesus is not deterred nor caters to the confusion of the disciples as he uses the metaphor of eating his flesh and drinking his blood to illustrate salvation.
Bread is provided to sustain the temporal life. temporary bread for a temporary life. That which supports the eternal must be itself eternal as Christ is.
Eternal life begins the moment of our new birth. it is the life that the faithful shares now and forever with the Lord
As it was that Jesus had victory over His death He has victory over our deaths. God’s promises do not hold true in this life and there are promises that cannot be fulfilled apart from God giving more life to us that we might be around to fulfill them.
Jesus Says no one can come to the Father unless the Father Draws him. How does the father draw the unbeliever who we all were at one point, to Salvation.
Jesus is God and is the first born of God. Today's lesson covers the significance of the first born son.

I do expect to be back up and running fully by the Lord's day service.
God condescends to our thinking that we might understand the nature and relationship between the two members of the Godhead
Salvation is not a intellectual pursuit of God. it is in faith in who and what God is and what he has revealed to us.
the people stood between two opinions. between Jesus and their leadership to sought to tear down witness of Jesus

What if I asked you,What is the Gospel? How would you answer?Ok, lets ask it in the simplest form. How is one saved? And we might think that it is a no brainer with those whom we associated with in and around church circles. You might think this saintly Woman would know the gospel but ask her and don’t be surprised if she should stumble and ha around in confusion and give answers and every answer apart from believing in the person and work of Jesus. The Gospel is a life and death message and to get it wrong one will suffer eternal consequences.

the short sightedness of the people saw only a way to continually receive bread where they did not have to worry about where their next meal would come from. they missed the message but none the less Jesus continued to teach.
people seek to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps that they may participate in their own salvation. while Jesus explains that it is the work of God and God alone who has sent the bread of life from heaven.

Two people may be engaged in the same action. Doing the same exact thing. One can be wrong before God, and the other may be right before God, based upon their motivation.Seeking Jesus is a good thing when the motive is right.
The breakthrough in the thinking of the people then and the people now, is the sight of heaven. Heaven opening up inside the hearts of believers. By heaven I mean the spiritual reality. That the spiritual reality becomes the central focus in our lives.
Jesus frightens the disciples who thought he was a ghost. He gives them the command to stop being afraid.
God did not just forget our sins but had to deal with fallen man in such a way as not to compromise His perfect integrity

it is not about filling the multitude's empty stomachs but about filling the multitude's empty souls
Man went from a right relationship with the Lord, naked having need of no atonement to becomes a law breaker subject to death. Unrighteous man cannot stand before an absolute holiness of God. if man is to ever come near to the Lord again it is God will have to reach out
Jesus tests his disciples when it comes to feeding the 5000 , will they come to understand the significance or will it be just a wow moment for them with little edification
As the Religious and political establishments were forming up to go up against Jesus, Jesus and forming up and building the future church
Jesus had drawn the battleline against the Religious leaders. They were out maneuvered, brought down to size and embarrassed by Jesus with little on his part at all. They like their Father, Satan, could feel that their authority which they coveted so much was slipping away, but now was not the time for Jesus to react but to carry on with God's plan
Jesus continues to have the advantage not only he is the truth but knows the hearts of those who attacks the truth. there is no other way for the religious leaders to win but to kill Jesus and in that they will even fail.
Do religious people who observe the Lord's day as being a day of rest worship the Lord or do they worship the day?
While His disciples walked with the Lord in fellowship the religious types were concerned with self imposed religion
It is hearing and responding to the Gospel that takes one out from the darkness and into the light
It is hearing and responding to the Gospel that takes one out from the darkness and into the light
What is it that you must know to be saved? Is there there a quiz or a test that you must pass before you enter into Heaven? or is there something else?
understanding dispensations is recognizing that God deals with different people in different places and times. It is in the church age that we who are the body of Christ have received the best that God has to offer. what a great time to live!
The Love of Christ is the Love for God and that comes with faithfully receiving God's word and faithfully keeping that which we have received
Jesus is the truth. we can accept the truth or we can reject the truth. but if it meant life or death should we not at least investigate the claims of Jesus as they are backed by his own resurrection?
It is faith that builds upon itself. nothing from nothing leads to nothing. When there is a lack of faith on the part of the believer it leaves the Christian where he stands and little capacity to see greater things that God will do for those who trust in Him.
The Son does the work of the Father, and it is the Son that all authority is given to Judge the living and the dead
Jesus is threatened by two things. Disregarding the religious nature of the Sabbath and calling himself the Son of God. being imitators of God when we declare christ to be our rest and declaring God our father we to are those that the world seeks to kill.
when Jesus found this man laying beside the pool, Jesus asked the question, not if he wanted to walk but if he wanted to be made whole. when Jesus found us he asked the same. what is our desire do we just want to overcome our human diffienciencies or do we want to overcome our broken relationship with the Lord,
Jesus comes to a man on the Sabbath during a feast and heals a man laying by a pool of water looking for healing
Judaism never saved, but was the foreshadowing of that which was to come. It was training wheels. but when the substance of one's faith comes then those training wheels had to be taken off.
the Pharisees and John's disciples gang up on Jesus but are no match for the wisdom of the Lord.
the Pharisees and John's disciples gang up on Jesus but are no match for the wisdom of the Lord.
Jesus deals with the superficial religious types elevating the importance of the sinner over the attitudes of the Pharisees
Should Christians adopt the Law to include sacrifices and rituals as recorded in the Old Testament
Not all converts, not all redeemed in Christ are Christ followers. So what is the difference?
In this paragraph a fifth disciple is now called to follow Jesus. Matthew is a tax collector and is in the midst of his work when he is called to follow. This association with Matthew then spreads to Jesus dining with tax collectors and sinners. The Pharisees critique this practice, and Jesus responds that it is these people who need him. To support this, Jesus quotes Hos 6:6.
What's next after forgiveness. do we carry on with no thought of passed sin? do we carry on with guilt and remorse? how do we respond as forgiven sinners?
Jesus being impressed once again but the faith of those coming to him heals the greater the need.
There were those who Jesus said come and follow there were others that were to stay and be the light where they were. to whom much is given much is expected. Much was given to the Demoniacs in the Land of the Gadarenes and though one beg Jesus to go with him, it was God's will that the man remain and tell others.
How much do we even as so professing Christians entertain demons when we walk according to the flesh
evil never claims defeat. Only doubles down on its evil. what happened in Babel appears to be once again coming together in the one world order
Paul asks for prayer for the mission that the word of the Lord will rapidly spread. Paul also addresses what is to be done with those who are lazy among them.
In the historical account of creation, God gets the glory. but it was the Narcist Satan who seeks to grab that glory in order to become like the most High.

WE normally classify beings as God and Angels. but there is a greater designation to the beings that are in heaven and in the unseen realm.
Starting this day on a short series based on Scholar Dr. Michael Heiser's research on the spiritual reality. There is a context that lies behind some of things that Jesus says, goes and does, that can be brought to light with regard to the angelic conflict.
The world, Family, friends, coaches, Pastors, and especially Satan and his minions wants you to be what the want you to be. Are you desiring for God to make you what God wants you to be.
Christ stakes his claim over the real estate and the souls of these men in the Gadarenes
one of the overlooked studies of the life of Christ is the areas which Jesus visited and why. Scholar Michael Heiser has done extensive research on the Unseen realm and battle between God and Satan's minions. Jesus takes a trip to a hostile region to confront the unseen enemy to stake his claim and authority over the unseen realm.
Greek stories about those who could subdue nature were normally about gods or about demigods who had acted in the distant past. Jewish tradition reported some earlier teachers who could pray for rain or its cessation like Elijah. But absolute authority over waves and sea in Jewish tradition belonged to God alone. It is not difficult to understand why the disciples did not know what to make of Jesus

In the fervor of the moment there were those who were motivated to follow Jesus, sincere in wanting to until they counted the cost. Who are the followers of Christ.
Those that pride themselves on being open minded and flexible to cultural changes that dismiss the very foundation of biblical truth are those that are on the broad way to destruction.
Israel is considered by many the holy Land, but is it? what would you expect the people to be by holy living in the holy land? Jesus insults his follows but pointing out this despised roman citizen and leader of a Roman company of men as possessing a faith that is absent from a people who should be most faithful.

Those who call themselves evangelicals in the time that we are living, may claim that they are saved but in whom and on what authority do they stand if they do not believe that Jesus is God, the bible is not inerrant, that man is not a sinner from birth and that there is more than one way to heaven. While there are debates among evangelicals in regard to bible interpretations, there is those truth that one must believe.
Jesus leaving the mount now demonstrates his kingship in the pattern of David ancestorial father.
After hearing the greatest sermon of all time and recognizing the authority of the preacher, how many lives will repent from the course they were currently traveling and turn to this Jesus?
It's easy to think that what works for you does the trick when all is right in the world. but will what you have invested your time in sustain you through the struggles in life in the storms come?
Through the sermon of , lies the contrast between the way of truth and the way of the religious Leaders who then were the false teachers. To follow the ways of Pharisees and scribes that posed as models of saintly living was destroying the spiritual life of the saints and disqualifying them for entrance into the kingdom. if one was to enter into the kingdom of Heaven they were going to have to lay a new foundation
The false prophets will have to stand before the Lord to give and account for what they had taught. those that followed the false prophets will have to give and account for what they had believed. Eternity will be a long time having to face the consequences for being wrong
False prophets and teachers are agents of the Satan. It is the goal of the false prophet to guide others onto the broad way that leads to destruction. First away from the life-giving gospel. And if that fails, then they are there to see to it that the believer fails to reach the fulness of Christ in Spiritual maturity.
Continuing with the Lord's day message on the profile and career of the man of Lawlessness
Satan's first objective is to keep the individual from ever being saved by skewing the gospel message. The fall back objective when he failed to prevent it, is to keep the believer from reaching spiritual maturity where he is qualified for future rulership position in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Is there any accountability for one who has been deceived and beleived the false prophets teaching.
with the breakdown of all institutions the door is open for the coming of the man of lawlessness
There are many in our day, and probably more than those who are faithful to God's word, of those who claim to speak for the Lord but are nothing but False Prophets in sheep's clothing. Jesus warns his disciples of such for those that listen and are sucked into their teaching will be held accountable for their rejection of the truth.
The strength of the Christian life is the Doctrine circulating within the heart of the believer. the believer that yeilds the sword of the spirit is undefeatable. the only way that Satan might get to such a believer is to corrupt the doctrine within.
Prior to the great and terrible day of the Lord will come the Antichrist. prior to the antichrist there will come a world wide break down of establishment seen not since the days of Noah prior to the Flood
The Broad way is not filled with just wicked people. but many good people who may have had gone to church all their lives, even been pastors and teachers and pillar of communities. but when it comes to salvation is that enough?
regardless of the debate, Christ is coming Back and he is gathering his saint to Him. How will he find you? waiting for his return or waiting simply to escape?
Jesus comes back to the subject of prayer. beginning with the model prayer, and then that we should pray in secret in our closet and not use repetitions, now it is that the Lord instructs us to continuously ask seek and knock.
is it that we should keep our heads in the sand and only pray when we see our brother stumble? holding up Judge not lest ye be not judged as an excuse?
The prime directive to the child of God is to move from spiritual infancy to maturity in the faith. There are stumbling blocks that are encountered. we have discussed material possessions in coveting and in worrying about having enough by way of logistics. the next field of stumbling has to do with relationships with others.
it is so easy to lose focus on the very thing we are to seek first which is the kingdom and HIs righteousness
Ours is to do the will of God, motivated by His return that we might be found to be faithful servants to a faithful master.
The believers purpose in life is not to simply make a living retire and play golf. Sadly while many seek their lives only to live comfortably they miss the very purpose of their lives. Ours is to glorify God while he sustains us
As God did with Abraham, God also does for us as takes from his creation to give us an object lesson to keep as a posted not reminder that God will take care of it while our responsibility is to love and serve the Lord.
There remains someone or something that we all bow a knee to. There are no independent agents in this world. It is that which we bow our hearts to is that which dictates over our lives. we may hate it, or we may love it, but none the less it rules. with free will we have the opportunity to chose what will rule over our hearts.
In the spiritual sense there is only light and darkness, no in between. No one is almost saved, or almost lost,
It is the all Eye that will set the direction to follow one's destiny. How easy is it for Satan to detour one's direction by skewing the vision.

Saul of Tarsus motive in Killing Christians with all the vileness that he could muster was the same Apostle Paul who was motivated by the Love for the Lord and the response to his grace was to do the work to edify the body of Christ.
Where do we go as believers, children of God, when we have sinned against God? How do we recover the spiritual walk with our Lord?

I thought that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and we were forgiven then. Why do we have to once again ask for forgiveness?
being that we so much trouble lately, and this morning we had a hum on the line I used the tuesday night to rerecord and work out the bugs in my set up.
why should we continue to ask for forgiveness when our sins were already forgiven at the cross?
Praying to God for our Logistical support and trusting him for it accomplishes two things. It provides for our needs and at the same time pleases God that we trust in Him for it.
Why pray for God's will be done when it will be done with all assurances.? Does God need our prayers?
Why pray for God's will be done when it will be done with all assurances.? Does God need our prayers?
In Calling upon the Lord in sacred communication called prayer, the Christian Prays to a personal God in heaven and in agreement with the angels we are Saying "Holy Holy Holy" is our God.
over the Centuries churches have stood and recited what has been called the "LORD's PRAYER." in good times and in bad. IN the light the persecution that is increasing around the world against those who belong to Christ the Church and Israel, the prayer becomes a pattern for those who are on the front lines of this persecution bringing comfort in prayer. declaring our dependance on our heavenly Father in difficult and perilous times.
The Word of the Lord does not condemn public prayer. But when it comes to the Pharisees who were the hypocrites, the motives were to gain the approbation of man rather than relationship with God. While there is times for public prayer, how much time do we spend out of the limelight to converse with our Lord?
There is good work which is acceptable by God and is rewardable in heaven. and there is the work though it may have same and even better earthly results but be rejected by God. Since there are no do overs in regard to coming back and getting it right the second time, shall we learn what kind of works that are rewardable in heaven?
Paul in prayers for the Church is often for the persecuted church. we often pray for God to remove the suffering, but what if it is what God has called that believer to do? Then we must have a strategy in prayer for those who are running the gauntlet of suffering for God's good pleasure.
The Life as unto the Lord is a private spiritual life. A life of invisible heroes, anonymous givers, and silent prayers. these are the ones who have the greatest impact and greatest reward.

One of the first orders of business pertaining the Christian life is to set aside the ego and bring all attention to and glory to God.
What is your ambition in this life. And are those ambitions greater than seeking the Lord?
Loving those who we are attracted to is easy. It is when we love the unlovable that takes us out of our comfort zone

Review of where we are in the Sermon on the mount, picking up a few gold nuggets of application on the way.
As the world leaders set themselves up for a one world global system, only to lay the foundation of the coming antichrist they will soon come to know the greatest terror of All when they come to knowledge of the living God whom they have opposed.
Members of the KIngdom age, the Royal family of God do not carry themselves as those of this world.
When people have qualify their worlds with making an oath or a vow it is in a society where truth is not valued.
Drawing from history, one of the greatest battles in history was the fight at the Hot Gates or Thermopylae where 300 Spartans along with allies that number 14000 against a Persian Army of a Million. the Spiritual life may at times seem like a battle against overwhelming odds, but just as it was with the 300 who held the line so must the Christian hold the line in the time of battle as he waits for the Lord's return.
How many lives have been destroy by God's own design when men and women chose to live outside the boundaries of what God had set. How many lives have been torn apart by sexual perversion. Jesus says it is better to tear out your eye or cut off your arm than to take that road.
Jesus in the sermon speaks of the importance of reconciliation between the brethren. in time we have the grace opportunity to settle a matter before the matter is taken to the higher court where the judge will side with the innocent.
IN the first book of the Old Testament, Genesis, the book of origins the first sin that is highlighted is a man who kills his righteous brother. the Murder took root in the heart of Cain before he even laid a finger on his brother. now in the first book of the new testament that Same hatred within the heart is discussed by Jesus in his sermon on the mount.
Jesus said that he did not come to abolish the Law but to fulfill the Law. there is no such thing as a old or new testament Christian. Paul tells us that ALL scripture is God breathed
The Pharisees were up this point the truth that people depended upon. They in their piety were the Spiritual giants in the eyes of the people. but of coarse would any of the Pharisees be bold as to say that they were themselves the Truth as Jesus had claimed. Jesus was the light that shed the truth on great many things including the fact that these Religious leaders were a sham that were themselves lost. He tells his disciples that their righteousness must be greater than the Pharisees if they were enter into the kingdom, but how?

The early church was light which shone in a dark world in order to bring others out of darkness.
Paul's second letter to this Church comes with thanksgiving and encouragement and instruction of how the Christian is to handle Christian suffering through persecution.
No matter how far one gets in one's own walk with the Lord, take warning that taking our eyes off the Lord can lead to the a disastrous end.
do not quench the spirit and do not treat as worthless prophetical utterances and abstain from all evil
The world hates Christ and it hates the image of Christ. IN persecution the world sees in me something that they hate. if that something is Christ what a compliment it is.
In the letters to the churches in revelation 2 and 3 there were the “this is what you are doing good” and then “this is what I have against you.” Statements of the Lord. Paul does the same thing in His letter to the Thessalonians. He first commends them on keeping the faith and then he has to exhort them on what they are doing wrong. While the Church under pressure of growing persecution was holding the line there was spiritual problem. The problem of quenching the ministry of God the Holy Spirit. The Christian fights a two-front battle, He might hold his own when it comes to making overt decisions to stand firm all the while he might be losing the spiritual battle within his own soul A believer you might be doing the right thing, but if one is doing that right thing absent from the filling ministry of God the Holy Spirit he is outside of the will of God.
As many wait for the rapture to avoid suffering that is going to come, it is not the Christian who is promised that they will not suffer. How well are we prepared to come into the times of suffering in trials?
The Age old battle has always between the Children of light and the Children of Darkness

There are two standards of Righteousness, God's which makes up God's holiness and the relative righteousness of man which he holds up to deem himself as right before God and others.
Man's greatest need is to be right with God, but is man hungering for seeking and asking for it?

While the world seeks to find comfort in their misery, it is the broken who seeks repentance. those that seek will find and it is those who find will be comforted.
every heart gets broken, how is there happiness in the life of the faithful in these sorrowful times?
The way that Jesus shows us into the KIngdom is through the wilderness where we will be tested and tried. As Israel was led through testing so must we go through the wilderness where we will be tested. So many failed
God is the God of the lowly and the broken. Sometimes the Lord has to break a person to draw him or her near.
there is no hope and no perpetual happiness apart from one's confident expectation of the kingdom to come.

Outside of Salvation where Christ dies for us in order that we might be saved through faith in the person and work of Christ on our behalf, is the event that at the point of being born again we receive as our permanent companion and mentor the third person of Godhead, who indwells the soul of every Church age believer.
What is the Kingdom of Heaven? Is it now? Is it the Church that is laying the foundation for it? and why are there so much ignorance and misinformation about this eternal kingdom?

Colleges will offer classes to those who just want to receive the information. they pay less the class just to sit in. there are those that pay much more to get the degree. Introduction to the book of Exodus and chapter 1 as we are preparing for upstate bible challenge.
How many of us hold so desperately on the old and while doing so miss out on the new and better and best. God’s plan for us requires a forward looking and moving to that which lies ahead. But can we miss out on it when we refuse to let go of the old.
Not one place in the bible did Jesus invite those to follow Him Promising illusions that to do so would be fun exciting with organized potlucks, good music on Sunday mornings, Christian events that are going to recharge and motivate the Christian. Jesus never said to follow Him, and all your troubles will be no more. On the contrary Jesus spoke of what it would be to follow him. Luke 14:26–27 (NASB95) — 26 “If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. 27 “Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.
What makes the difference in any believers life by way of being a Christ follower. What is behind the few who seem to have a great faith even when disaster and we wish that we could have such faith as they? How were some unlearned fishermen able to turn the world upside down? Discipleship; following the Lord and his teachings. This is another fine day in the Lord!

“Follow Me!” Two words which were at the crossroads of each of the twelve’s disciples’ lives. It marked a path that if taken would be the course that would lead to each picking up their own crosses, and may I say gladly, (except for Judas) and it was the coarse that gave life in abundance. An life eternal. A life that would lead to them in the future of sitting on twelve thrones over the tribes of Israel. Yes, there would be a cost involved. But to consider that no eye has seen, and no ear has heard what God has prepared for those who love Him, what small price we would pay in comparison. “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.” Jim Elliot Missionary to Ecuador Gave his life in the line of duty
Where were you when Jesus passed by. What kind of life were you actively engaged in? what was your life up to that point? Was there any admirable qualities about you that would make Jesus stop and take notice? If you say yes Then Why did God call those who had no morals at all, no qualities of virtue or integrity? Levi was very much hated. Who among the Jews would have ever thought that this one would be called by Jesus to be a Christ follower? Who am I to have ever thought that I’d be deemed worthy of the Lord to have called me and commanded me to follow? Who are any of us? This is another fine day in the Lord.
The scribes was building a case against this man, Jesus, as they sat quietly watching and listening. They had just witness a man being lowered from the ceiling. Jesus tells the man that his sins have been forgiven. Knowing that only God can forgive sins they had heard enough. but Jesus then puts the Scribes on trial and that which they will walk away with will either be their salvation or their condemnation depending on what they chose to believe.
The Lawgiver is the highest authority in the Land. The Lawgiver broke the religious custom and healed the leper and not he pronounces before an audience that a man's sins have been forgiven. who is this man?
Count your blessings one by one for all good things come down from heaven, for sure. But it is it that you count and are thankful for? What is the role of the Herald? and what is in the life of the believer that cause him to decrease that the Lord's name might be magnified in His life?
The Gospel is a two edged sword. It is the good news that saves, but it is also the basis of condemnation that the unsaved are unsaved because they had heard the gospel and rejected it.
The two comings of Christ comes with two different purposes. the first to save and second time to judge. we are living in the time of salvation.
When a bride was recieved for the Son of Abraham from Haran, there was a Journey that was taken that went on for a period of days maybe weeks before the bride would ever lay eyes on bridegroom. Rebekah left the place of her birth and raising accompanied by the servant of the Son’s Father. It is not written in scripture if Rebekah ever saw her left behind family again for she has left and will be united with her husband and so she will be forever with Him. On that lengthy Journey there would be long conversations between Rebekah and the servant . Being a close and trusted servant of his master he would tell the bride all about her husband. through the servant she fell in love . though she had not met him she loved him. the rapture is the time when the bride is united with her bridegroom to be forever with Him. it is only a part of the greatest romance stories ever written.
in order that we might have eternal life, the Hypostatic union was necessary in order that Jesus could fulfill both the role of God and Priest.
God could not just arbitrarily forgive and forget. The Righteousness of God demands Justice where there is the breaking of God's law.
What is the Rapture of the church? who is the bridegroom who is the bride What does it all have to do with a Jewish wedding?

The Believers at Thessalonica had worries. They were expecting the return of their Messiah. they believed the promises but they were seeing loved ones dying and were worried about whether they would be included in the kingdom. Paul addresses this in 1 Thessalonians 4 the passage that many would call the Rapture passage, but it is more a Hope passage.
Nicodemus was confused. How can one be born again after he is old and used up every option to be born again
The Message first was declared from the pulpit of John the Baptist. “Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand.” Then it was that Jesus began His ministry with “Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” There were those whom believed, but then their hopes were shattered when this proposed Messiah was executed on the cross. Then miraculously the hope was rekindled not just for the few who remained with him up until Jesus’ death, but many others who was witness to the resurrected Christ. Now the great Hope remained that the Son of David would return and claim his Throne. Soon. All very soon. the return was imminent. They could endure and hold on for just a bit longer. For Jesus was returning. But Loved one’s were dying. What about them. did death disqualify them from entering into the kingdom. This was indeed a concern which was expressed to Timothy and taken back to Paul.

After the death of Jesus on the cross. Even in those three days while waiting for the guards to break down the door to arrest them, the disciples were in mixed in their feelings. Fear, worry, disappointment, sadness. But as they sat and waited, I wonder if their minds drifted back to the very moment where they first met this Jesus of Nazareth. for it was that precise moment that would change their lives forever. Has you life changed? and can you look back to the very point where you stepped forward into the new life, a life in Christ.
Does the wonderful grace of Jesus that takes away all my sins, leave us with no personal responsibility to reframe from sin and to walk in a matter of our calling?

There is a destination that we are being taken to. There is a place in the soul where there is rest and there is a literal home with The Lord that the child of God should be looking for. 2 Peter 3:13 (NASB95)But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. the destination is on the other side. And to get there we must go through the valley of the Shadow of death. Jesus went first, to show us the way. we are the body, we are to follow. And though we may in it have to face a battle this day, we have the sword of the spirit that we win every battle with.

What is Sanctification? Is it just to be set apart, or is there a deeper understanding to it. today we explore the history of sanctification.
What God's purposed from the beginning, He intends to see to its completion. Man opted out of God's kingdom plan, he must to be a part of God's kingdom agenda to repent from that bad decision and to God's kingdom plan.

From when the serpent spoke to the woman offered one to her, there has always been a counter Culture. a culture that sets itself against everything that God is. what is God's will for those who
From the time when one had been offered to the woman in the Garden there has been a counter culture. a culture that sets itself up against the culture of the bible and everything that is antithetical to God and His Righteousness. What is God's plan for the believer in such a culture as this?
Jesus fulfilled the Laws of Divine establishment. He was the perfect man without sin. He was perfectly subordinate to his earthly parents. the model citizen. Jesus obeyed the Law perfectly. in so doing Jesus established the way that we are to follow.
Joseph and Mary finds their 12 year old in the temple after three days of searching. Jesus makes a bold statement which Joseph and Mary fails to understand on that day.
Adam and His wife Eve lived in a culture where there was no sin. It was Culture of perfection. A culture where man stood naked before God and was not ashamed because man did not require atonement. It was a culture where there was no shame and guilt. There was harmony between God and God’s creation. It was a Culture that God established. It was Culture that with the close of the sixth day, God said was very good.
But then came Satan who introduced a counterculture that would set itself against the one that God had created. That Culture offered man other things, things that God Himself did not give.
“Come, come, said the wicked serpent, “and be like the Elohim where you will have greater knowledge of good and evil. You may eat from the restricted tree for there is no boundaries beyond the boundaries which God has set. Don’t you know that God is holding out on you?”
Satan was offering a counterculture. A culture where man could be his own independent agent apart from God. Man could do what he pleased. He could gain mystery knowledge from the angels and even eat from the forbidden tree. It was a culture without boundaries.
So, man rejects the culture of God and he chooses the counterculture offered by the serpent.
Our first parents made the decision to take us away from the culture that God had made for us. How then, as Christians should be live, living in the Sex, Drugs and rock and roll culture?
Joseph and Mary looses Jesus and finds Jesus right where they should have suspected Him to be.
What kind of Child was Jesus? Was He like other Children? Did Mary have to scold Jesus for this or that? did he run to his mother when he got hurt. did he sit upon his Father’s lap to hear his Father tell him stories about Abraham Isaac and Jacob. Would Jesus pester his Father, Joseph to tell him again stories from the bible when he was being tucked in at night?
When Jesus Play being David, pretending he was before the might giant Goliath using the sling that he had made for himself target practicing pretending some tree was Goliath?
Did Jesus Laugh, cry, make noise, romp about as the other Children.
when would it be that Jesus would come to the understanding of why he was here on this earth?
when would Jesus come to know that he is the Lamb of God?
In life there are the invisible heroes. Heroes of the faith. Very unassuming people, whose lives seem to have little to no impact on the world around us. They go about their own business. They live their own provided lives, and maybe only a few will recognize when they finally leave this life.
But what will we know them when the story of history finally is told? What will we learn of these quiet unassuming people? That is the faithful ones, doing their divinely assigned tasks as unto the Lord and making their divine appointments. They, being faithful in the little things. And while it appeared that the things that they were assigned were so unnoticeable to the casual observer will have had great impact in the plan of God that will echo through eternity.
One day we will know their stories and their impact on life and their spiritual legacy.
“Honey… we have Company.”
Mary would stand in disbelief with her eyes opened wide and her hand over her mouth. The representative would tell them about the star, some about their travels and how in Jerusalem the King wanted them to find the boy and to report back so that he might come also to worship him.
They would then bring forward and into the house the treasures.

Each day the believer in Christ is walking. But in which direction? In one direction we are moving closer to Lord in Sanctification where we are going to be pleasing to this Awesome God, as we stand before His throne. And there is the other direction that will lead to us standing before Him having nothing to show of our lives that is pleasing to Lord except for God’s own personal righteousness where we have atonement.
Only the shepherds on that Christmas night came to the see the newborn king. Who else was alerted but them, as far as we know?
The greatest event in all of human history had happened, in that God becomes a man to come to redeem man from his sins. But the world did not notice. It was unmoved. All went about its way as it did the days before and the days after whether one was the highest king or the lowliest of peasants.
But on there way was an entourage traveling over a many miles suffering Terrain and weather to visit a little child who they will come to worship.
In the book of Deuteronomy, we read that by the witness of two witnesses a matter is settled. We met Simeon, and now today we meet a widow whose whole heart is sold out completely to being a carry of the good news of Christ. where the first witness leaves alluding to the Pain of his death, the second witness will be announcing The Lord’s victory over death and our hope of redemption.
This is another fine day in the Lord as we join together in God’s word and we meet Anna.
No one is ever the same when they meet Jesus. that is the Salvation message of Christ who is our Savior. People will either love you for being the one who delivered the message of Salvation or they will hate you for it because with even the mention of the name, because Jesus is light in a place that people love darkness.
What would cause the Jewish people to reject their long waited for Messiah. What would cause them to shout Crucify Him Crucify Him, the one who had healed the sick, caused the blind to see, and give hearing to the deaf?
Jesus would be the stumbling block for the people, for they rejected Him and by rejecting Him, they also sealed their own destiny when their own worship center, the Temple would be demolished.
But if the Simeon was so right about the fall of Israel, will His prophecies also be so right about the rise?
This is another fine day in the Lord as we come to God’s word in Luke 2:34 the Simeon’s prophecy.
Does being saved by grace mean that we also live by grace?
Does Christ Paying the sin debt, past present and future mean that since those sins were paid in full on the cross that it does not matter how a Christian should live.
Will there be an accounting for this life for the Christian who was saved by grace?
The Jews were a very religious people. They believed the prophecies. they believed and stood on the Torah. but what was the stumbling block which postponed the kingdom ?
Who is allowed to look into heaven? Who is allowed spiritual insights? Who is allowed to discern things that are of a Godly nature? Even to read God’s word and to know how it speaks to the heart? Is it just pastors? Is it those who are academically astute and scholarly? Maybe like the Pharisees and the Scribes.?
Or can be only those who the spirit opens the eyes of the heart?
after the challenges through December and recovered from sickness we are ready to resume thursday night bible study. tonight we will review what we have studied thus far in pertaining to the genealogy of Christ.
There are the “IF ONLY’S” to a person’s happiness.
You’ve heard them. And you may even have a few yourself, as did I.
“If only I had that car, then I’d be happy.” “If only I was married, then I’d be happy.” “If only I wasn’t married, then I’d be happy.” “If only we had this president instead of that one we all would be happy.” “If only I were rich, I’d be happy.”
The list is long.
What would console your soul in a time of gloom and sadness. What IF ONLY’s would make you truly happy?
What was it that brought solace to Simeon? And what is it that would bring true happiness to a Child of God?
What can be the only Hope for the restoration of Righteousness and Justice in this dark world?
Though a person is saved and have eternal life, does it automatically assume that the believer had devoted his heart and life to the Lord. Can the Child of God opt out of loving the one who did the most for Him when he died on the cross on his behalf? And if so will God take away their salvation because of ingratitude?
What is it to be a devoted believer like Simeon who was rewarded with not only seeing but holding the Christ Child.
Its not all about getting people saved that they might not go to Hell.
It’s also about sanctification, the bringing the soul to the place where the life of the Child of God is maximized to the glory of the Lord and to that believers maximum Joy in the Lord.
This is our personal ambition as individual believers.
This is our collective ambition as a Church.
What is the greatest concern in your life? what is the greatest Joy in your life? and what can be the greatest hurt in your life?
Is it related to the souls of others?
Are the souls of other’s the greatest burden in your life?
If it is, then you share the heart of the Lord.
The shepherds would be told where to go to find the Christ Child. they would identify Him of one being wrapped with cloths laying in a manger.
These shepherds cared for the special lambs. The ones that would be used for Passover. Those with out spot and without blemish. Healthy Lambs which were nurtured and cared for by the shepherds.
Until one day when they would directed to find that one Lamb that would be the one that would shepherd them, and be the one who would die for them and for us.
The lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.
On the night of Jesus’ birth, the event of the birth of the Child King alerted all of the heavens and the earth. That night was the grandest pass and review ever known. The Manger was the grandstand and the Angels marched by saluting the baby King of all of Creation.
The Greatest event history had happened.
No event in history of man could compare to the event of this night. A quiet night. A night when people from all walks of life and all status of life rich and poor, powerful and lowly had closed another day and like each night went to bed and drifted off to sleep. They woke the next morning, to carry on their same ole’ routine, but who would have known while they were sleeping that God came to earth taking on the form of a man to accomplish salvation on the behalf of all who would believe?
Who would have received the message that night?
Kings? Caesar Augusta? The self-prescribed King of the Jews, Herod? The religious types of course. The Pharisees, the scribes, the Sadducees the priests. Certainly, it had been revealed to them that the Savior is born.
Nope, not them either.
So, who was it who would have received the greatest news of all time of the greatest event that had taken place in the land even in the world
Through history there were those events that changed the course of history. Great wars. The rise and the fall of nations. Inventions and technology.
But no event in human history is greater in magnitude and impact than the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ leading to his death on the cross.
The event is the fact that true God Holy, transcendent, eternal and sovereign, leaves his heavenly domain to take on the form of a human being.
The very event shook up both heaven and earth and marked the beginning of the end of the serpent.
Communion service.
Yesterday we celebrated the start of a new year. 2022.
And as the world celebrated raising their glasses dancing to the parties, making resolutions, and singing Auld lang Syne, the reality of the moment is that every Christian that entered into the year, as he and she enters into each day, was created for this year, for this time.
God has a plan. That plan is fulfilled in the progression of time. You and I as members of the body of Christ, are the objects of God’s plan.
We were made for this year 2022. This is our year. To live up to our calling and God’s predestined plan for our lives within Gods over all plan for the historical consummation of his plan for redemption.

here is young Mary in contrast to the priest. Zacharias the priest wants validation of what the angel had spoken. Gabriel then shuts the mouth of the priest for duration of Elizabeth's pregnancy's. But when the same angel comes to Mary, she does not ask for validation but in wonderment was trying to work out the fact that she was a virgin and it was not that she did not believe, just that she did not know how this was going to be pulled off. Mary's conclusion was to believe in the Lord and to do God's will.
Finally coming out of the words from a very lengthy sickness. Tomorrow through Christmas morning we will have our Christmas special praising God for the gift of His son. Hope we can meet together. blessings to alll

What is the legacy of God that this generation is leaving for the next generation and without doing so is there hope for them or for the nation?
Through out history stages have been set for the final show down. times when it looked like Christ was about to return when we thought things could get no worst. We may be at a point where we are about to see the return of our Lord. the restraints upon evil are removed and the Kings of the earth take their stand. If this the time? and what should be our response? Relax and know that He is God.
What is our hope as Christians?

What will be our crown as we stand before Christ at the Judgment seat in our evaluation of what we have accomplished in the body?
IN the time of national judgement, when the Lord removes his blessing from the Nation, how shall the remnant of God respond when they suffer as being part of the nation.
Why do you not share the gospel? Is it because you do not know? Are you afraid? Or is the gospel something that have not been trusted to you by God to share. Has God shut your mouth?
Here is the first of the two Psalms of King Solomon which is very timely in light of our evening study. The Psalm looks forward to the Messianic Reign of Christ.
throughout the Old Testament man could only come so close to God and no further. Just a veil separated God and man, but that few inch difference was an eternal gap. the veil needed to be ripped and once ripped the way would be made that man could come, follow and abide in the Lord.
David often was oppressed by his enemies. And he was delivered. The greater deliverance for us all was on Calvary where Christ is the champion of our souls.
Loving God creates a capacity for Thanksgiving for God with an attitude of gratitude to our soverign king for what had done, what is doing now and what He will do.
There are similarities and there are contrasts between David and His ancestral Son and one of those contrast is the heart for the enemy.
Paul defends himself from the attacks of those who seek to discredit the Apostle and the message.
Another Lament, and one that brings us closer to the heart of not only David, but of Jesus and his talk with His Lord.
On the night of His betrayal, Jesus prayed all night. It was not until the wee hours of the morning that the men came to arrest Him. The Gospels tells us only a small portion of our Lord’s prayer that evening,
Praying all night? Have you wondered what was it that he was praying?

The Lord is a King maker. His providential hand place kings and removes kings. There is no amount of maneuvering that will keep one on throne or off the throne when according to the will of the Lord.
There is a ongoing Air-Ground war between Satan and the remnant. while there is a war that Israel is active in on the ground it is the spiritual war that the Church is engaged in. in the end total victory will be of the Lords.

Solomon Said what was will be again. there is nothing new under the sun. This goes with history as what the Lord had done on the behalf of his people in the time of the Exodus will be played out again in future events.
Paul establishes the Church, exhorting the Gospel, which brings pressure down on a people who had not experience such their lives prior. Questions may have been arising, "Where are this Paul who brought such suffering to this community. did he just run out on us?
God has revealed himself to man. He has revealed himself in Nature God has revealed himself in recorded history. It is a fool that says in his heart that there is no God.

In the continuation of the study of the letter of the Thessalonians, we come to understand in this letter the importance of the unity of faith from the pastor down to the newly born-again believer.
While we are saved by Grace do we express gratitude for all that God has done for us by way of that Salvation?

In the absence of Hope a married couple crumbles.

Without hope a nation declines.
In the absence of Hope the Christians is defeated
In the absence of hope the gospel is hindered, the Christian way of life is no more, Spiritual maturity is stifled, and the believer will stand before God as a complete failure.
Without hope the spirit remains in chains within the slave market of sin though he had been set free from sin.

There is a journey that these clay vessels are moving, a journey that is set before the believer. That Journey leads to the place where Satan would not have us to go. It is a place when we have reached it our lives are maximized to the glory of the Lord.
There will be opposition. How do we move forward in the face of that opposition.

Faith Hope and Love are evidence of a true Christian conversion. These are three things that the Apostle Paul is informed of concerning the Church of Thessaloniki
First, we studied work of faith. It is faith that produces the fruit. We nurture that tree with the study of God’s word. And then apply that which we have learned to our lives and within season fruit is produced. It is faith that is at work to produce the fruit. A healthy Spiritual life will produce the fruit.
But when it comes to Love, true Love, that on the other hand becomes laborious. Perhaps on Valentine’s Day we should give our lovers happy Labor Day cards. Or on Labor Day send flowers to our lover.
David after God's own heart experienced it. Christ experienced it. the Church experiences it. and the tribulational saints will experience it. IN a world that discrimination is the greatest of all evils it will be those who are of the Lord's that will continue to face hatred from a dark world that hates the light loving the darkness for their deeds are evil.

The world is full of fools that disregards the fact that there is a God. And that God sits on the throne. and we all will have to stand before this God. the fool while he disregards that there is a God also disregards the grace and mercy of this God that while we are in this life we have the opportunity to have our sins erased.
the Christian was called into a dynamic life. We were chosen by God. taken off the bench and He put us on to the Playing field. But Lord, I am a nobody. I am weak. I am Marvin Milk toast. But God has put within his elect an operating system called faith. It is by faith that the dynamics of the Christian life comes into being.
In carnality, that is walking according to the flesh, the Christian life is brought to a halt. No love, no sacrifices, no prayer, no nothing is accepted by God. Only repentance from sin is accepted and the Lord is faithful to bring the believer back into the light.
should we make promises to God, for God's forgiveness. Should we pledge loyalty or some course of action in our asking for forgiveness?

Paul sends comfort in a letter to those who are in the midst of persecution and rising doubt.
The Psalmist gives us the glimpse into a terrifying reality for those who on the day of Judgement will have to face the Mighty one whom they spent their lives rejecting.
The first and foremost thought that must be ever present in the life of the believer is that God is God and he is not. that God is sovereign over all and what is life if we are not bowing a knee to the sovereignty of all creation?
A Rhetorical question presented to you and me as the we council in these troubling days. Wickedness continues on the rise, and it does not seem to have an end to the extreme place that it desires to go. And once more it is protected and sponsored by laws of man who upholds evil more than moral good.
Yes, troubling times, but the Psalmist says, “Why should I fear when adversity comes.
And with persecution when the believer will find it difficult to make a living and the freedom to buy and sell will be difficult to those who are of the Lord.

In a time of national disaster when the security rug or blanket vanishes, the hopes and dreams and aspirations vanishes.
The role of the Husband and the wife in marriage that reflects our spiritual marriage to the King of the universe.
The King is Coming. The King will take his bride. And while the writer is gleeful of that think how much more the bride herself will be excited about that day when she is joined with this king.
The warrior king is coming on his great white steed taking up the cause for truth for humility and Justice
IN the time of Famine, the believer must properly assess the situation beginning with where his relationship with his Lord is.
There is coming a wedding.
One should study the Jewish wedding traditions. In those traditions that date back to biblical times there is laid out the marriage between the King and his bride.
Everything from entering into the engagement, the waiting period, the bride price and so much more. The Jewish wedding ceremony is rich in imagery of the marriage of the king and not only of the king but do remember that we are his bride. For us it well be far greater than those who stood as his enemies who are made a footstool for his feet.

while in a time of need and the multitude is struggling fighting and hording provision to seek after one's own welfare, the one who cares for the helpless will be sustained by God
Advancing in God's plan will not be a Cake walk. The evil one did not want you to be saved and he certainly will oppose any effort on the believer's part to glorify the Lord while in the body. but yet the believer must press onward despite the flaming arrows
The strategy of Satan is to shut the mouth of believers. Tired of the evil you see around you? fight back with the Gospel.

Who measures your success or do you measure your own success. and if you meet the expectations of others or meet your own goal are you really successful. How about when you stand before the Lord. Will the Lord be commending you for running the fastest race, climbing the highest mountain or swimming the deepest ocean? what will His well done good and faithful servant be based upon?
Yes the wicked do prosper in this life. But do they really? Is there times when the righteous are hunger and seemed to be forsaken while the wicked never seem to have a care and the world. Is it ever a time to just laugh with the sinners than to cry with saints? it boils down to what we value most in this world; the things that the eye can see and ear hear and the hand can touch, or the promises of God.
Tonight we continue with Sunday's lesson on the Angelic battle to destroy the Messianic seed line. Tonight we go over the Angelic attack against the seed the flood and the tower of Babel

It is the right application of learned truth. what is our perspective in the storm that we find ourselves today. are we crying out for the Lord and accusing him of being unfaithful, or are we riding out the storm knowing that in due time that the Lord will quiet the storm with but a word. The wicked in our day in places of power believe that they have won some kind of victory. they stand in opposition to God and seek to bully God's elect. But while all this is happening it is the Lord who laughs at them. it is a pretty Scary thing when God laughs at his enemy for what the will receive for their foolish hearts in return will not be pretty.
