PRAYER DOES NOT ALWAYS CHANGE THE CIRCUMSTANCE WE ARE IN, BUT IT CAN ALWAYS CHANGE OUR ACCEPTANCE OF IT AND ATTITUDE TOWARD IT.

JESUS IS BETRAYED

  • The “crowd” of thugs expecting a fight

  • Jesus predicted this - Mark 8:31

  • a “kiss” - a sign of respect and of friendship

  • Peter fights and is rebuked

  • the disciples fled into the darkness

  • the “young man wearing a linen garment”
