Learn to discuss CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) in Spanish with the family of a patient with advanced dementia. This is a PART ONE of a dialogue between a doctor and a patient’s family regarding care at the end of life. After suffering a stroke a year ago, the patient has lived in a nursing home and suffers from dementia. He is mostly wheelchair bound and needs help with feeding. He was brought in because he had low oxygen saturation and a fever. An infiltrate consistent with pneumonia is seen on his chest x-ray. In the first part of the dialogue, we discuss CPR.
