What is surrender?

Hands up...I give up/give over, yield, relinquish, submit, abandon, take my hands off; the posture of a disciple, every aspect of my life given to God.

Our family, Luke 14:26

Our possessions, Matthew 19:21; Matthew 6:24

The world, 1 John 2:15-16

Our worries, 1 Peter 5:7; Matthew 6:33

Our desires, Ephesians 4:22-23

Our minds, Romans 12:2

Our bodies, Romans 12:1; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

How do I surrender?

My goal is to be a moment-by-moment person moving in His ways, applying His Words, according to His Will; a daily commitment: hands up, hands down, hands cupped, Romans 6:12-13; Galatians 2:20.
