And though there had been some talk of a sequel back then, nothing came of it. But now, Nielsen is back, starring in the role of Lucilla. In the original, her character’s husband was the film’s protagonist; now, it’s her son picking up the mantle (and the sword). Nielsen said that as soon as they approached her with the “second generation” story, she was on board and excited.
