Welcome! Thank you so much for investing in our party cookbook, as you have seen we used a lot of really great props to create colour and fun, this doesn’t ‘always’ need to be done through the food itself.
However, sometimes you may like a little colour in or on the food too, so below are our favourite party supplies.
Always check ingredient labels Just like everything, things change and there may be a chance that the ingredients change, so always double-check before purchasing them. We don’t normally like to give out brands for this reason so this is our disclaimer – check the ingredients! If you do notice a change please email us at info@additivefreelifestyle.com so we can update our records.
Therefore, as of today’s date (September 2021) the following are all additive-free:
These are the items we used throughout our party book.

Icy Pole Moulds You can get these from a few places. The ones I used are called Zipzicles and you can get them from quite a few places online, just do a Google search.
You can also get these type of moulds (generic branding) from eBay, just allow for extra postage time.
If you want a more eco-friendly version, Sinchies have their own version which are great too. These wash and wear really well!
Cake Toppers You’ll often be able to support small business and source cake toppers from places like eBay, Etsy, Gumtree, and Marketplace. Normally you can custom design them.
Otherwise, places like Coles, Woolworths, Spotlight, Cake stores, Kmart, Big W, and other craft stores will have them.
Figurines All the above stores (cake topper suggestions) sell figurines that you can use on your cakes.
Eco Friendly To keep your party eco-friendly use paper straws, cups, plates, and bowls, not plastic.
Use bamboo spoons and forks, not plastic.
Get lollies without plastic wrapping.
Have a bowl of chips rather than individual ‘fun size’ packets.
Don’t use cling wrap, use re-useable food covers instead.
Reuse one-time plastic table covers. At the end of the party wipe them down and save them for next time.
Wash out any plastic cups and reuse them another time.
Hopefully, that’s helped make life easier for shopping and creating your party food.
We hope you enjoy Everyday Additive-Free Party Edition.
Much love,
Jo & Tracey x
