The Chief Director for policy coordination and integrated planning at the national department of health, Milani Wolmarans in her capacity as the Project Manager for the Electronic Vaccination Data System for the department spoke to Sebenzile Nkambule about Vaccine Certificates - whereby, the vaccination certificate site got off to a shaky start on Friday and has been experiencing extreme operational difficulties due to the sheer volume of enquiries – and government is saying they will resend all EVDS codes to help.

People, including healthcare workers vaccinated under the Sisonke Programme, are still reporting issues. But the department is adamant that some of these problems are purely technical.
