The bible gives us many reasons WHY we suffer ... Our sin, the sin of others, an evil presence known as Satan the accuser, indifferent creation that needs renewing. (Creation's destructive power is not personal, it’s indiscriminate in terms of who it harms and what it destroys.) But just as important is the issue of HOW do we respond in the mist of suffering?
