Holiday fun with Preuss Pets - When the relatives and friends come to town for the holidays, and the kids are out of school and wanting to do something original and fun, where can you take them that will stand out in their memories and not cost a fortune? Preuss Pets! Listen Saturday at 9AM as Rick Preuss from Preuss Pets and Lee Cohen discuss the amazing and unique animals you can see and learn about with a visit to Preuss Pets. First up is Will Schaefer from the freshwater department discussing the stingray that is currently in stock. If you've never seen one in person and are limited to Aquaman fils for an understanding, you'll be amazed at how cool these are but remember to keep your hands outside of the tank at all times! You'll also hear all about Jeff the 3 foot eel that will come right to the surface of the tank if he thinks he sees a worm being fed. Then Sean Murphy discusses the hognose snake that can expand the size of his head and neck to scare away other creatures. They are very cool snakes and make for great pets. Sean also discusses some of the other great reptiles and small animals that you can see including poison dart frogs and some very rare mice. Then Katie Ramp finishes the tour with a discussion about small animals like hedgehogs, degus, hamsters, gerbils, ferrets, chinchillas and many other animals you might not recognize but could fall in love with.if you tour Preuss Pets this holiday season. To hear about these and more, tune in to this weekend's edition of the Mid Michigan Pet Expert Talk Show on 1320 AM WILS on the radio
