The Hamilton Today Podcast with Scott Thompson

Liberal MP Joel Lightbound broke rank today, speaking out about the PM’s divisive rhetoric and a call for a road map to end COVID restrictions across Canada. As you can imagine Scott is full of opinions! And in local news the Burlington 1st Port Nelson Scouts had a full trailer stolen, and they are fundraising to help replace that, link to the fundraiser below! Hamilton, as we are aware, faces a huge housing crunch. Ontario’s housing task force has made some recommendations but those would see a massive overhaul of zoning laws. Would it work? Are there other steps to take? Urban Research and Land Development expert Dr. Frank Clayton joins Scott for that. And of course we continue with more on the Olympics, the protests in Ottawa and across the country, and returning to life as normal.
