MVT: Origins is a new series exploring the grassroots music venues that shaped some of the UK’s most celebrated artists. Across five episodes, musicians return to the rooms where they found their feet, reconnecting with the people, places and communities that helped make those early years possible.

Episode one follows Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) as he returns to Brighton to retrace the steps from the now long-gone Concorde Club to an international career, and reflects on why the city’s grassroots music venues remain as vital as ever in giving the next generation of artists somewhere to begin.
