Oh no, what have I done? The spell. How bad was it? This morning we've heard Tony Thornton. He's covering it. There's a big old oil spill on the road. Josh, you did... I can't remember how many stories. I'm trying to think of one that jumped out. There was one you did of a truck that spilled like septic fluid. Oh. The bad ones are clearly fuel. Something that's like an accelerant. You get a spark. Boom. Nagasaki on the highway. But there's been other ones throughout the years that have been like milk.

SPEAKER 03 : 0:37

Oh, that's disgusting. Yeah, I always... The preferable spills are like when it's honey. Because everybody gets stuck.

SPEAKER 05 : 0:51

Get frozen in place and that's where they have to live now.

SPEAKER 03 : 0:53

Yeah, or bees. Didn't recently something like 40 million bees got loose because a truck full of bees? But I digress.

SPEAKER 05 : 1:01

I'm counting that one. You spilled bees everywhere. That sucks.

SPEAKER 03 : 1:04

That's like a spill that flies. Yeah, I wouldn't want to be caught on the road behind an oil spill.

SPEAKER 05 : 1:12

Where's spill? 410-338-1098 before I jump into the phones. Anybody in here? You talked about yours, Joe. Will, any... Oh, and it's okay. This is a safe place, and you are past the... What is it called? The limit that the... What do they call it when you committed a crime? That's your limitation. Thank you, Commandant Blake. You ever spilled anything here on the back?

SPEAKER 01 : 1:35

Oh, not here. No. Oh, no, but not a coffee spill or anything.

SPEAKER 05 : 1:39

Not a coffee spill?

SPEAKER 01 : 1:40

No, but I remember when I was a kid, I spilled like a sparkling water in the middle of a retail store.

SPEAKER 05 : 1:44

A sparkling water probably made whatever you spilled it on cleaner. Yeah. Dude, remember Anderson and the 2010 car of the year, the Champagne Ford, whatever the hell that stupid was, the Fusion? And he had a big, thick, creamy, milky latte, and he poured it into... The behind the seat, it was all carpeting. Yep. And that cream and everything, it just embedded itself in the fabric.

SPEAKER 06 : 2:07

It starts to get sour.

SPEAKER 05 : 2:09

It starts to get sour. It starts to get a little yeasty.

SPEAKER 03 : 2:12

It's like the whole car had a UTI. During the time I had to stay home after retinal detachment surgery and I could barely see. He was face down. Yeah. I had to have groceries delivered. So one thing I had delivered was a jar of pickles. And so I leaned outside of my front door to grab the paper bag. And I made the mistake of not holding it under. And the pickle jar just crashed. And I couldn't see where the shards of glass were.

SPEAKER 05 : 2:54

So you not only have pickle brine, which is acidic in and of its own right, but now you have shards of glass. Are you just at that point thinking, okay, I'm almost blind. I'm looking through a circular hemorrhoid pillow to watch TV reflected off of a mirror. And now my house smells like a Vlasic factory.

SPEAKER 03 : 3:15

Yeah. And this was on the porch. So I was on my knees trying to, I had my hand feeling around for the shards of glass. Yeah. And I could have gotten seriously hurt. Praise be that you didn't. Josh, call me the next time that happens. Oh, I should have.

SPEAKER 05 : 3:33

Next time, call him. Let's go to Danny. Line one. Danny, what's up, bud? You there, Danny? Oh, God. Oh, no. We're going to go back to Daniel. There's Danny. Everyone exhale. Welcome back, Danny.

SPEAKER 04 : 3:51

What's up, boys? I used to work at a really famous fast food restaurant. The coke came in big gallon, like big tanks. Yeah, yeah. Somebody overfilled it, and it went into a closet and got like 50 gallons of syrup all over this closet.

SPEAKER 05 : 4:06

Dude, that stuff is so nasty. I know exactly what you're talking about from my time working at a restaurant. Ours were delivering these big, huge bags, and you'd put it up into the machine. Heavy sons of bitches. And they mixed with the seltzer water to make the soda. And if you got that stuff on you, thank you for the call, pal. If you got that stuff on you, it was like getting just north of like Elmer's glue on you. And forever, where you would spill near the edge of our soda machine, it would just be as sticky as an adult theater's carpet. Yeah, that cola syrup is awful. Let's go to Dylan. Dylan, what's going on, bud?

SPEAKER 02 : 4:45

Hey, how you doing, guys? How's it going? Morning, buddy. Morning, Josh. Morning, Marna. Yeah, a few years ago, I worked down at BWI, and a buddy of mine, I got a job there. He was fueling a plane, and he opened up the wings, to fill the wings up first, and then you do the center.

SPEAKER 01 : 5:04

Yeah.

SPEAKER 02 : 5:04

So he turned around and... The wing didn't go to 8,600 pounds like it was supposed to. There was a problem with the wing. So he manually opened the wing, and he kept fueling. And mind you, you can't see the other side of the plane. So it's dumping on the other side of the plane. And like how many? 600 gallons? It's going down the... The runway. All the planes park. The runway. Not the runway, but like... The tarmac. The tarmac. I get it. So hold on.

SPEAKER 05 : 5:39

What do you do to clean that up? Are you talking like sawdust, talcum, flick a match?

SPEAKER 02 : 5:44

What are you doing? It's like a... It almost looks like cat litter, but it's like I'll call it something dry.

SPEAKER 05 : 5:50

Oh, my God. Thank you for the call, dude. Yeah, when my son Gavin, he's learning to drive. He's doing great. But it's like, okay, well, you now need to learn to get gas. This poor dude, he goes to a gas pump on the outskirts of Ritchie Highway that you know how these days when you fill your gas tank up and it's got that little metal tab that holds the grip in place? Yep. And there's supposed to be a catch in there that when it fills up, it kicks up. Right. This thing didn't activate. Gas is shooting out of the tank. Jesus. And this poor guy thinks he did something wrong. He didn't. I was like, dude, that's a million to one thing. That's happened to me maybe once before. And the poor guy, there's gas all over him. We got to take his clothes, put him in the trunk. Car stinks. I got to go inside, tell him, hey, you got to go and cat litter this whole thing, which I think it is. It's like cat litter.

SPEAKER 06 : 6:37

yeah yeah yeah uh our buddy uh tommy simbazo yeah if i do recall he uh was getting gas at a gas station this happened twice that he was uh getting gas and just pulled away with the with the things with the hose just sticking out by the same gas station that's an elderly person thing to do tommy's brain's going bad um let's go to another friend here let's talk to our pal gay ben

SPEAKER 05 : 7:03

What's up, guys? Ben, before we get your story about the spill, answer and answer honestly. Is there a camera hidden in the giant stuffed dog you gave Josh? No, absolutely not. All right.

SPEAKER 04 : 7:17

No camera, no tracker.

SPEAKER 05 : 7:20

Okay, very good. You were offering us pizza. You and I actually hung out. I gave your boyfriend a compliment on his pearls. They look lovely. And we were eating food. He grabbed his wrist in a weird way. I did, yeah. Both of them at the same time. And I gazed into his eyes and I said, you're my boyfriend now. And then I ate the rest of that meat lovers, which I thought kind of hacky. But, yeah, you didn't come up to Speeg's at Purple Moose because we looked a little busy. But the morning of Angler's. You should have at least stopped by there and said, you know, later on, fellas, I'm heading off to my private plane. Weren't you sitting at a table at the Anglers?

SPEAKER 04 : 7:53

I was. I was also kind of a little bit hungover from the night before, so, you know, I kind of was like, eh.

SPEAKER 03 : 7:59

Okay. That's a little creepy, but I love it.

SPEAKER 04 : 8:02

Honestly, I mean, I can see it now, and honestly, it was kind of creepy, but...

SPEAKER 05 : 8:08

I'm still not convinced there isn't an AirTag in that stuff, dog. I'm waiting to feel some little microchip in there, some nanobot. What did our friend Gabe N spill?

SPEAKER 04 : 8:19

So, this was a spill. We spill oil and fuel all the time. I work on YASA sport fishing boats. When we spill oil, it's a mess. It takes forever to clean up. It's in an engine room. We've got to clean it all up. It's just bad. But the worst smell is sometimes we have to do major work. We have to take the exhaust off, and that leaves... you know kind of a big hole we cover it up with like a a rubber plug or a plastic bag um and secure it up but sometimes muskrats will come in they'll eat through that bag they'll get stuck in the engine room and they'll die under the motor and then when we come back we got to get it out and the entire engine room smells like dead muskrat
