In this conversation Moccasin Tracks host Deb Reger meets with Karen Transgard-Scott to talk about the challenges facing the organizations since covid lockdown to continue to provide services needed by the survivors of domestic violence. We talk about rape culture and how we might find solutions for individuals, families and communities. We ask about changing consciousness and what that might look like.

The recent murder/suicide is unfortunately too common and advocates are always looking at factors, behaviors and domestic violence patterns that can protect and heal individuals, families and communities. Karen shares how change is happening and encourages us all to ask ourselves how we each contribute to dominant culture, "to uproot the causes of violence and build a world free of oppression to support all people to thrive."
