This episodes address the question of customs duties on E-transmissions by Big Tech companies and the moratorium extended through the World Trade Organization. It rejects taxation through so called import duties on Big Tech companies that lack an overall commitment to enhancing the skills of people in those developing economies. I reject the need for such taxation at all. It is my belief that a focus on education and training as well as opening those economies for activities in the digital economy are far better and advantageous to the future. Finally, I discuss Trinidad and Tobago and how it can develop its socio-technical economic model to improve access to opportunities and training in the field of digital technology.--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/yourevolvingworld/messageSupport this podcast: https://anchor.fm/yourevolvingworld/support
It takes time before we realize when things are at the point of being ridiculous. That time is now.

This episode is centred on rejecting anything that affects free will and it questions the idea of science as a tool to depend on in the public decision making process in as much as it is based on investigation and endless if not continuous verification. Public decision making involves a biased and often partisan context that creates many dangers in times of crisis. Politics and science are as dangerous a relationship as religion and politics. Governments in the free world have no right to impose their will even in the interest of the majority who are by nature more tolerable to accepting what they should by right reject and rejecting everything else often times due to fear of the threat to those who refuse to comply. We exclude here the threat posed by businesses in an environment of mandates but they are recognized as equally dangerous.

The world is perishing in an orgy of fear and self sacrifice. When we are afraid we cease to live and become no more than animals who look on but can do nothing. We are the most beautiful and elegant creation on earth. We have journeyed to the deep parts of the ocean and to the reaches of outer space, survived all manner of disease and we have built this world. We must never cease to remember who we are and what makes us great. The human mind is not collective property and so no one can claim a right to the mind of others. The choice is to live. Live today.
