A member of United Scenic Artists Local 829, Mathew is a recipient of a 2014-2015 McKnight Theatre Artist Fellowship, 2012 TDF-Irene Sharaff Award, and a 2015 Ivey Award. He is a Professor of Costume Design and Chair of the Department of Theatre Arts and Dance at the University of Minnesota.
