Land Acknowledgement:

We would like to start our day by acknowledgingthat the land on which we learn, play and live is the traditional land of the Mississauga Anishnawbe. At St. Francis of Assisi, we strive to honour the teachings of the generations that have gone before us with care and respect for this earth.

Daily Prayer:

Creator God, Thank you for our teachers who help us to see the world, to dream about our future, and to reach for the stars. They have a great responsibility to help us to be the best we can be. Let us help our teachers by working hard in everything that we attempt today. Protect our teachers and help them to be examples of God’s love. Amen

The Lords Prayer 

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
