In this episode I share some interesting interactive student- student activities that teachers can use in order to make their class interaction more communicative and more student-oriented. The benefits of student student activities are legion. First of all, such activities increase student engagement Secondly, students get more chance to talk and to speak and use the language which means more of practice. Finally, through these communicative activities students also learn many other social skills other than simply using the language for a particular than linguistic or communicative aim. In teaching English language apart from macro skills, we need to develop micro skills that can greatly affect quality of teaching and learning. Skills such as giving Instructions, monitoring , grouping students, icebreaking and so on can help you help students to an extend that you might get surprised when you see the depth of learning in your classes as a result of owning these skills as a teacher.
