Romans 8:33 - 35 lets us know that Jesus not only lived a life showing us God's goodness, power and will, and ways, and He not only died for us and rose from the grave with all power in His hands, taking the sting/fear of death and the power of the grave away but He is with God the Father interceding on our behalf. Yes, He not only left us with a promise of His preparing a place where we would be with Him and a promise of His return, but He is still showing love for us and obedience to the Father by giving of Himself - showing His faithfulness.  With Jesus being for us and God's love abiding with and for us, nothing can separate us from God.
