Today we started a new teaching series on Leviticus. In our first teaching, Pastor Jesse taught that the burnt offering was a costly and daily sacrifice that drew remorseful sinners into the holy presence of God. The pure blood of the sacrificial victim was shed for the tainted life of the repentant sinner.

Likewise, Jesus is our perfect burnt offering. On the altar of the cross, he restores the broken relationship of repentant sinners with God and enables them to now dwell in his holy presence forever.
