Many individuals with high functioning autism might not be diagnosed because they tend to be good at hiding symptoms. Therefore, many might only be diagnosed with OCD, Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Depression or Bi Polar Disorder. If your child has been diagnosed with any of those 5 conditions we recommend getting an evaluation for autism as well. We want to make sure your kids are getting all the proper treatment.
