The search for meaning in life begins and ends with God. But how do we know God exists? We know through revelation: the revelation of who God is through creation, history, culture, the person of Jesus, and the written Word of God. We don’t just know truth in theory; we experience these truths daily in our lives whether we are aware or not. It’s only when our hunger is activated for the Living God do we experience His presence in our lives. How do we get to know God? We read His word. For it is in the reading of the Word that the way to Jesus is revealed, the truth is illuminated, and knowledge of the Holy Spirit is imparted. Our hunger for God fuels our experience of God and His Word.
