It is a part of Hinduism and Yajurveda. It is a set of mantras for offering flowers to the Goddess. Mahadevi gets pleased by offering flowers to her, especially red and colourful flowers like Ixora coccinea, Saraca asoka, Pandanus,  Areca catechu flowers and the like, suitable for rituals with sanctity and devotion. By this one can get the boons of the Goddess and also get a favourable atmosphere. It is very important to give proper tone and pitch for the mantra while chanting it clearly. If chanted in masses it is said that showers will occur in the place. So, it is a powerful mantra to be chanted along with learned Vedic persons. mutilating or ill feelings will cause adverse effects too.
