The Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu has returned to his six month pilgrimage around the Diocese of York this weekend. Yesterday he visited Northallerton and moves on to Ryedale next week.

Earlier in the week of course he visited Huntington Road as the Foss broke its banks, and of course in Tadcaster where St Mary's church was flooded.

The floods also affected the Archbishop's own residence at Bishopthorpe Palace.
