In the autumn of 2010 and winter of 2011 Extant ran a 10 week performance writing programme called ‘Writing Stage’, for visually impaired writers at any level of experience. These pieces were first recorded and broadcast by Aculco Radio.

Each piece includes an interview with the writer, the tutor Alex Bulmer and reading of an extract from the writer's script by Rachel Drazek, Susan Harrison and BBC Radio’s Gerard McDermott and Carl Prekopp.
