Bishop Makram Max Gassis, a Nobel Peace Prize nominee for 2012 was in Ireland in May 2012 as a guest of Trócaire, the overseas development agency of the Catholic Church in Ireland. The bishop was in Ireland to raise awareness of the plight of his people in his diocese in Sudan. He spoke to Brenda Drumm on KFM - this was broadcast on Sunday 20 May 2012.
