Proactive's Jon Hopkins tells Proactive Investors that Imagination Technologies PLC (LON:IMG) saw its shares jump as they posted a return to profits.

''It's been pretty hard work for them'', Hopkins says.

''They've had a good year when it comes to results - the figures look alright. But it's been a year of two halves.''

''They've basically had to come back from news that Apple isn't going to be using their chips anymore and that's really not good news''.

Hopkins adds: ''Their shares dropped off a cliff after that was announced earlier this year but they have bounced back since then because it's really prompted takeover discussions''.
