2017 sees the 25th Anniversary of one of the most ground-breaking comics publishers in the business - not only because of the innovate storytelling that they have released over the years but because of The Deal that puts the rights of the works firmly in the hands of its creators.
As first Editorial Head, and then subsequently and to this day Publisher, of Image Comics, Eric Stephenson is the man best suited to talk to about why this arrangement between a band of creators worked and where the company ultimately evolved to from there.
