For over 35 years The Samaritan Center in downtown Syracuse has provided hot nutritious meals to men, women, children and elders in need 365 days a year with no questions asked. Last year they provided over 118,000 meals for families and individuals in need in our community. There is a special fundraiser coming up next week called The Pour to benefit the Samaritan Center. The Samaritan Center is one of the many places that the Volunteer Lawyer’s Project of Onondaga County assist those for free who can’t afford legal counsel. They are holding a fundraiser this week to help fund their immigration project which provides free legal services for immigrant and refugee families.
