Last Tuesday, Byron Burger gave away burgers usually worth around £10.95 for just 25p. This was part of a scheme in conjunction with the charity ‘Two Feeds One’ to raise money for children living in some of the poorest communities in the world.

Whilst the burgers were for a good cause and for a cheap price, we asked Bristol students if it was really worth waiting two hours in line for.

Byron pledged to double the amount of funds raised on the day. So, whether or not you’d queue two hours for a burger, the restaurant promotion undoubtedly raised awareness for an important cause, and exposed the extent of world hunger.
