In January 2016, Jonny Goldsmith attended 5 star wrestling at the Newcastle Arena. One of the members of the star studded roster, was former WWE superstar John Morrison, now known as Johnny Mundo.

Having been in WWE from 2004 until 2011, John is a former ECW Champion, WWE Tag team champion and Intercontinental Champion.

As of the summer of 2016, Johnny Mundo is the heavyweight champion for Californian based promotion, Lucha Underground.
