Here we go again! In today's episode I will be talking to my big sister (two out of four), about our move to the US. I hold this specific episode very dear and near to my heart. Monica ("Moni") had very different struggles from the rest of us when we moved. Just like the rest of us, Moni experienced the same homesickness and feelings of being misunderstood while simultaneously feeling blessed; however, on top of it all, Moni also struggles with depression. She has been struggling with depression from a very young age, and the move was everything but smooth for her. It is inspiring to re-live these moments with her, especially since when they were happening I was so caught up with what I was feeling that I often forgot to look over to her and ask her if she was okay.
