Main Points from this Kapow Cast
- So I’ve just recently gone through a period of time and then in business, uh, where I’ve gone through a massive amount of darkness. By darkness I just mean, you know, those horrible times in business where you like, where am I going? What am I doing? Is this good? Do I want to be doing this? Does this suck? It was pretty horrible to be honest. (01:18)
- But here’s the thing is that I knew was all for a reason. I’ve been through enough quote unquote dark times in my business and in life to know that on the other side of darkness, like when you learn the lessons and this my personal beliefs, and when you learn what you need to learn, the light appears. (01:36)
- So here’s the point is that in life, in business, in order to level up, you’ve got to understand that there are going to be times when it’s horrible, when it’s absolutely horrible. So this time around, last time I was okay with the fact that there was darkness. It was uncomfortable, but logically I was okay with the fact that there was darkness. (02:24)
- The message here, maybe the message here is to give up and you know, just go work in a supermarket and that’ll be fine too. Whatever,Right? But I knew in my gut that that wasn’t what was going on. I knew that if I did that, if I gave up what I knew to be true there was going to regret it. (03:09)
- We asked the hard questions of ourselves and each other about ourselves and about our business. Was our business what we wanted? Was our lifestyle, what we wanted? If we continue down this pathway, was it going to be the type of existence that we would be happy with if we were on our death bed? Yes or no? (05:38)
