Hermit is a stunner of a debut novel from author Steve White who goes under the pen name S.R. white.

It’s his first published novel but he’s been writing for years, admitting he’s got a drawer full of unpublished book drafts and hundreds of rejection letters.

He hit a sweet spot with Hermit - it’s a moody, intriguing story set in a regional Australian town where a local shopkeeper is found murdered and a man, who had gone off the radar years ago, is found at the scene.
