Lions cricket coach Geoffrey Toyana says he is disappointed with the Proteas’ World T20 Cup tournament campaign after South Africa failed to progress to the semi-finals. The Proteas lost two from four in the group stages only registering wins against associate sides Afghanistan and Sri Lanka in the dead-rubber game on Monday, 28 March 2016. Also, after a rough six months going through CSA disciplinary programs and remodeling his bowling action weeks before the world tournament, Toyana had high praise for left-arm spinner, Aaron Phangiso’s contribution in the last two matches. Toyana says he believes that the Proteas opening loss to England was the game that hurt Russell Domingo’s men.
