After careful planning and preparation over the last 18 months, Du Plessis commends the selectors for sticking with the same group and the players for putting their hands up for the world showpiece. The Proteas kickoff off their final preparations for the world cup tonight the 19th of February 2016, 18h00 in Cape Town with the first of two T20 Internationals against England. The 31-year-old Titans stalwart, Du Plessis, says that it will be highly important for players to hit the ground running and play their roles well for the team starting tonight.
