Former Proteas have returned to the game to help Cricket South Africa in spreading the gospel of development at the entry level of the sport. Former Proteas captain Graeme Smith, fast bowler Mfuneko Ngam and batsman Neil McKenzie are the three KFC Mini-Cricket assistant coaches and will be helping out with the winning school in preparing them for their game against the Proteas. The second season of the Mini-Cricket Kids vs Proteas Tour will see first prize winners playing with their school team against the Proteas at a live curtain raiser to the T20 International Series against West Indies in January next year.
