Cricket South Africa chief executive officer Haroon Lorgat has been cleared off allegations that he knew about the statement about the International Cricket Council Board and the Future Tours Programme by former ICC legal head David Becker. Lorgat was also cleared of the charge of bribing and threatening journalists. Being cleared of the charges means that Lorgat will again be CSA’s representative at the ICC Chief Executive’s Committee and will also be involved in matters involving the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI).
