8 October 2015 - Topic: The Film and Publication Board together with the International Association of Internet Hotlines will host the first ever African Media Content Classification and Online Protection Conference which is aimed at addressing challenges around cyber safety, child protection and content classification from an African perspective. According to the CEO of FPB, Themba Wakashe, through this conference the FPB seeks to harmonise interventions in South Africa and the SAADC region that respond to protecting children across online platforms.
