On this week’s episode I speak to Chad Dickson, a U.S police officer and former military officer, about his experience in serving his country. We reflect on his time in Iraq, the biggest takeaways he had from serving in the war and how it has refined his perception of life. We also speak about Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, and how many are unable to reach ‘self-actualisation’ because their safety needs are not being met. Driven to be better than he was the day before, chad embarks on regular ‘intentional’ challenges to force him to face his inner critic and develop grit. We speak about his most recent challenge as well as the toughest challenges that he has been through. In addition, Chad shares how he aspires to ignite a change through the approach he takes to serving his community, especially during a time when many undervalue and even hate the police.

Stay tuned, this is an episode not to be missed.
