Liverpool and Hackney super lightweight boxer Sam Maxwell joins Adam Thomas for podcast number four. The 30-year-old talks about a number of topics in this episode, starting off with when he moved from Hackney to up north when his father passed away when he was young. Maxwell talks about how he got into the sport, competing for England and Team GB as a youngster, dropping out of university to focus on boxing, boxing Vasyl Lomachenko, who many regard as the pound for pound number one ranked boxer in the world twice during his amateur days, competing in the Commonwealth Games and his hopes and ambitions for the future in the professional ranks.
