Recently I was listening to some Popol Vuh and the piece I was listening to got me thinking about doing something with choir, pipe-organ, and cymbals. The underpinnings of this track started from essentially that. It seemed to need something so I added in some environmental samples (by Lawrence English) and some other layers of complimentary sound elements. As things started to tighten up, I felt that there was a dream-like traveling element I wanted to explore. The Choral/organ (etc.) bits give it a bit of a spiritual element and the earthy world-sounds keep it anchored in more or less physical places. I hope you enjoy it.
