Have a PlanAfter forty years in the desert it was time for the children of Israel to move into the promised land. It was time for them to shift to the new day that God had for them. One thing that God wanted to do before shifting to the new was to make sure that the old was not only dead, but it was dead and gone. This week we look at Joshua 1 and explore the thinking that we all have to this day that would keep us from moving to the new day.
*Romans 7, Joshua 1*
Discussion topics1. What are some good habits you already have in your life? Would you be willing to name one bad habit that you still have in your life? (Note – the first person that goes will set the level of transparency for the rest of the group…if you want shallow answers then give a shallow answer, but if you want freedom, then share deep so you and the group can go deep.)
On Sunday Pastor David talked about common thinking that proves we aren’t thinking:
If I find the right person, everything will be alright. If you become the right person…
Which one, or ones, do you struggle with the most? What do you need to shift or break to be free from that mindset(s)?
