The Third Eye or Ajna Chakra is the seat of your intuition.  Blockages in this chakra can create physical distress in the eyes, ears, brain, and sinus cavities and emotional distress through an over-reliance on logic or rational indicating that you are shutting off your intuitive wisdom.  Clearing these blockages allows you to access your wise mind - an integration of logic and intuition, discarding the concept of duality.
