Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray imposed Section 144 across Maharashtra from Monday morning.

The Railway Board declares the shut down of all passenger trains, including Mumbai Local Train that will be shut from a night on Sunday. The rule shutting down of all trains is in place till March 31.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray requested the people of Maharashtra to stay at home till March 31. "Please stay at home till March 31. After that, if needed, we may have to increase the days."
