In Uganda, Dorika Kabuo and her four children were chased from their home by Dorika’s husband after Dorika and her children committed their lives to Christ and left Islam together.

People who convert from Islam to Christianity often face similar persecution from relatives like Dorika’s. Uganda’s extremist Muslim population has a history of attacking churches, pastors, and other Christian families.

Dorika says, “Although life has not been easy after converting to Christianity, we are determined to finish the race and keep the faith.”

According to Open Doors, a human rights watchdog for Christian persecution, Islamic Oppression fuels persecution in 8 of the top 10 countries where it is most dangerous to be a Christian.
