The 20th century it is argued was the most violent in human history. There were more people killed in the 20th century than any other. And yet here is the sophisticated, scientific and technological Western world still trying to work out what it means to be human. This is where the ekklesia of God can offer the most substantial input...human beings are created in the image and likeness of a relational God.
