I am participating in the Halfoweenathon: Monday April 29 - Sunday May 5

  1. Read a book that has been adapted into a movie and then watch the movie. 2. Read a book by an indie author. 3. Read a book by a master of horror, e.g. King, Barker. 4. Read a book set in the Autumn. 5. Read something that is not a typical novel. e.g. short stories, graphic novel, poetry, etc. 6. Read a book released within the last 5 years. 7. Dress up in a costume and post it on social media. For the first one, I am reading The Ritual - and as such will celebrate on May 5 by watching the film over again. An indie author ties into the other ones as I finished reading The Toll by Mark Allen Miller on April 29 at 2 a.m. I started that evening well after my bedtime so I feel it counts. To cover two requirements, I am reading The Scarlet Gospels by Clive Barker. It has been out in the last five years, is a master of horror, and leads into the final bits.

I Luv Halloween 3 will be my graphic novel - I’ve read some of the Hellraiser comics as well to help flesh out my Harry D’Amour knowledge and satisfy the atypical ask.
