Stage#3 "Symbolization"  Let's talk about the 8 stages of Genocide, by Gregory H. Stanton.  Though look at these stages allegorically, to what is happening with the far lefts viewpoints and stance taken towards Classical liberals and Conservatives. I find the similarities very interesting.
